Varese Sarabande downloads

hi, just wondering if anyone can tell me why there is an issue with posting their music? I don’t want to post any and am not asking for any – just curious as to why this is not allowed while music from other labels is? also: has anyone ever been sued or received a letter regarding downloading from file hosting sites, or know of anyone who has??

It’s not "for legal reasons" – it’s because Varese have threatened the administrators and other labels haven’t. Posting Varese is no more illegal than posting anything else.

The same restriction applies to releases from Film Score Monthly, for basically similar reasons.
