Can’t say I like this OST, there’s only a few tracks that were very good, the rest was boring. And Sawano with his Japanese singers with terrible German pronounciation stuff…

Agreed. Just more music in the style of overly loud and bombastic for no reason. It exemplifies the direction I hope we stay away from in modern scores to come. I prefer the approach Djawadi took in Pacific Rim. At least it doesn’t beat you over the head with noise.

Yeah, I’ve enjoyed Sawano’s previous works for the most part but this one isn’t really doing much for me. I mean, Sawano’s music is usually loud and bombastic but this one just feels over the top. The vocal tracks aren’t even interesting either.

I hope this soundtrack is just an anomaly.

Question for everyone – Am I missing something or does this not have the track that begins at about 20:05 in episode 8? You all know the part I’m talking about! Not sure if I’ve glanced over it somehow.

There are a few noticeable omissions. Chances are good this’ll get a second disc, or a bonus release, at least.
