Composers: Koichi "Pretty K.N" Namiki, Katsuhiro "Funky K.H" Hayashi

Here is the OST for Galaxy Force II, recorded from the headphone jack of a Model 1 Genesis. (Technically from the line-outs of an attached Sega CD, but same thing.) The Genesis is an original model with "High Definition Graphics" above the cartridge slot, so there should be no distortion in the sound. Audio was captured using a Behringer U-Phono UFO202 and Audacity 2.0.1. Aside from some volume optimization, this is raw audio straight from an actual console, no emulation. Each track was allowed to play twice, then given a 10-second fade-out. Tracks are named according to the sound test mode:

01 Scene Select 0:24
02 Beyond The Galaxy 5:38
03 Defeat 2:36
04 Take Back 5:12
05 Alone Fighter 2:26
06 Try-Z 1:49
07 Stage Clear 0:07
08 Name Entry 0:31

Total time: 18:43
Archive: 148 MB RAR w/recovery record, no password (The Goat says NO to passwords!)

Thank you very much, Sega only released track one on the Soundshock Galaxy Force Soundtrack. I’m glad to know there are still people who know that emulation is not the way to preserve and enjoy VGM. I tried to encourage people to do this but only a few contributed to my thread (Thread 94767). Thanks once more, since I haven’t been able to get this game, at least I will be able to enjoy its music the way it must be.
