Having ripped stuff from other PSP games (including some Capcom ones), I’d be pretty positive that they were at3’s converted to wavs/flac. AT3 to flac essentially comes out to the same result as mp3 to flac, a lossy file to a "lossless" format, meaning that it’s still lossy but it’s waveform attributes (timing, spectrals, etc) will stay intact. It’s somewhat unfortunate that the PSP used compressed audio so much but at least we can still GET the music and listen to it as was intended. Thanks for this!

Yea but why doest it sound so crap compared to the gameplay audio. I remember i used to use atrac3 on my minidisc player but i had to record the music to convert it to atrac3 that was back in the day. A line in recording of this game would sound much better. I wonder though why no one has been able to make a program that converts atrac3 without loss.
