a stupid dvd/bluray rip, then yes, it’s the real deal.
There is no bootleg. This tracklist matches that of the one that went public last summer, not long after the film opened
Thank you, Scorepranos!!!
AGREED
I’ll reupload the score so that Pillar Assault pt. 1 is the correct version.

Scorepranos… I really don’t know what to say. The day after Independence Day… the complete film score of Transformers: Dark of the Moon is FINALLY here! You deserve more than a like… you’ve just earned yourself a standing ovation!!!!!!!
You can now remove RotF and DotM from your wish list π
———- Post added at 09:46 PM ———- Previous post was at 09:44 PM ———-
Because thats not what I have. And that was an early rough version of the cue sheet. There had been revisions since that original cue sheet.
Ah, ok. Got it.
You can now remove RotF and DotM from your wish list π
Is Revenge of the Fallen complete score available?!!!!!!
Damnit! I was looking forward to the "Battle Glorious Suite" and the "The Dark Suite". But you shared a behemoth with us, so at the moment I could care less about them π

….maybe..
i just came.
stems probably re-arranged in PP…youd probably need to get ahold of the predub to get film versions we like, like the film version of optimus in transformers 1.
"Whenever there’s hope… there’s life."
Optimus Prime
yeah that was a reference to the bullshit that went down with our "mark g." back a while ago. if you were around for it.

you know what would be fucking awesome, if he had like Saw I-VII since he had Saw 3D released in FLAC before the official release like a year ago..or like TLS since TF is an RCP thing.
the hell am i talking…THIS is fucking awesome.
I think just about all you guys on here know that’s my single most wanted cue in all of film music π

Lmao yeah, right
Is that english?
as much as i would love flac, i do understand with these scores. 102, 75, 67 track count would be huge files in flac. perhaps when he gets more time he will do better quality. until then, i am cool with mp3
and you did RoTF too..
praise be to you

Thanx a million for all those early christmas presents!!!! Any news on the link for "Pillar Assault 1" though?
I included it in the main zip file I reuploaded.
5m39a Freeway Chase
7m51 Dylan Arrives With pillars / Seal Off City is the invasion cue, which is simply "Heed Our Warning" from RoTF only remixed a little different.

Well there you go then =)
Doesn’t matter, thank you very much for this score, for which I wait for one year.
Gauthier, those I’m almost positive those are indeed the film versions. Although there IS a chance they are not, as "1m00 Logos" doesnt include the "I Rise, You Fall" reprise from RoTF
pillar assault pt 1 and 2 are still the same
thanks for all these, a dream come true
Or, is this a secret ?

Wonderful share!! Thanks so much for making this available to us!

Yes. I reuploaded all three scores to Sendspace. New rips so there should not be any errors now.
Interesting…
:O
No errors, no fouls… just another home run from our friendly neigborhood scorepranos!!!!!!
BTW, are the suites just the album versions? Or something more? What about the Lazerbeak suite? My favorite new theme that the OST didn’t fit in. Can these be passed along as well, oh gracious Scorepranos? π

All you need are a little of Energon… and a lot of luck. My bad for being Optimus-tic.
I agree, I am Scorepranos and Hybrid… Or is it a Hybrid of Scorepranos? Either way, I agree with Scorepranos!
But… Um… Reality check.. What the F*** would it matter anyway if there was to be such a happenstance that Hybrid is Scorepranos… You got the 3 bloody scores dintya?
Is sitting here right now pondering who will be the first jerk to start on the next reign of rare score they want and how long after they have listened to these 3 before they request it! Father Scoremas ought to take you off his list this Scoremas, You greedy little so and so’s you!

I have already seen people mention Inception, however, they shall rename nameless. I am extremely grateful for these, I’ve wanted them for so long. Of course I would love others scores too, such as the one I just mentioned, but I’ll live. I have Avatar, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and the Transformers Trilogy. I’m a happy camper π
Usually 8.5 seconds after reading the initial post
I’m just a bit confused that’s all.
I’m just a bit confused that’s all.
Sigh. I don’t know what to tell you. I uploaded what I have. Thats how the mixes I got were. So I’m assuming that;s how it’s supposed to be. There’s been plenty of movies were they reused a few cues twice in the same movie.
I’m just a bit confused that’s all.
Yes, it is. There was just a mistake, obviously, as why would the correct film version as heard on the OST and the film be deleted in the complete recording assions and another cue be repeated twice? Just use the OST track in its place.
Now, that is the only error, correct? Anybody else find more before I make some CDRs for my ride to work tomorrow?
:this:
Granted, I hope that each and every one of you would buy an official release should the producers ever put one out, correct? I would, especially of those I love a great deal.
Anyhoo carry on.
(and some wonder why this stuff doesn’t happen more often)
Anyhoo carry on.
(and some wonder why this stuff doesn’t happen more often)
You’re right Amanda… why can’t they just appreciate the soundtrack? Just enjoy it and appreciate it. I’m already enjoying the 2 complete scores of TF 2 and 3.
Anyhoo carry on.
(and some wonder why this stuff doesn’t happen more often)
Heheheheh…. You angrily complained about people pi$$ing you off and then said butthurt in your sig, hehehheheheheheheh.
Seriously, most of the people who love the scores would pay top dollar for CD sets of them complete. Most of the time, the leaks are very often complete and of studio quality, and some of the leaks are purposefully edited/shortened/incomplete and highly compressed. While everyone would like them as complete as and in the original quality that they received them, at the same time, we’re grateful for what was leaked, and at least I am not DEMANDING more. Myself, I ask if there is more because I want to be sure its everything before I burn them onto CDRs (I only have a CD player in my car and don’t take my laptops or portable music players everywhere with me).
But we should try to use reason and acknowledge the difference between ‘being grateful and politely asking if there is more?’ and ‘angrily demanding more like petulant children’. There is a fairly significant difference, and you lambasted us here to look like the latter. I read most if not all of them as the former, especially considering that we previously only had the OST and tiny lil’ portions of DVD-rips.
Edit: Ah! I had not read the HZ forums! Yes, you are right! They are acting like spoiled lil’ children over there. So odd considering that they are supposed to be on an official site (or pretending to be one).
This is just too good.

For once, I’m sure a "Thanks" wouldn’t go amiss, not "This ain’t right GIVE ME MORE!!!!!!". Nobody HAS to share anything with anyone. Scorepranos could have sat on this for a very long time, but he didn’t. Sometimes it’s really hard to get your hands on this kind of stuff in the first place, not even mentioning any restrictions your sources might place on it.
This "Not Enough, Never Enough" attitude has got to stop.
No, but really. Private sites often do the exclusive thing. For whatever reason. The most often cited reason is fear of being too closely associated with a leak and losing one’s job, friends, or access to this stuff in the first place. Those who do post often ask that stuff not get shared. It is just what it is. But, in this case, some one who had access (it does not really matter how, or why) chose to share what he had. For whatever reason. If he had the full lossless set, or just what is posted does not matter. He shared. It is officially TONS more of these two scores, fx free, than what you had the day before yesterday. Is it frustrating to now KNOW, without a doubt, that these exist in good quality and are out there just beyand reach? No question. But, still. This is better than nothing. I know a lot of Horner fans who’d love to get Titanic, even at 192 and missing some suites.
Bottom line, if the people who do share get burnt out or harrased, they will stop. Then what? Then we can go back to bitching about when it will leak? Better to be upset at having nothing than to have something. I just don’t get it?

This is indeed the point I was trying to get across. There’s a lot of people biting the hands that feed them in this thread. This isn’t the way we should be going about it.
Won’t bother me to upload a score in 64k mp3 LOL
Firstly, all of these recording sessions are intellectual property of the composer/producers/film studio/etc.. To leak them is illegal, whether it is complete or incomplete, compressed or uncompressed. I understand that there are legal reasons as to why someone – either an insider or someone who knows an insider – would not want to release them at all. They could be fired if traced back to the original source, or even worse — if the composer and studio ever decided to — be prosecuted in a court of law if discovered on op of being fired. So, there is a risk there, not to mention the morals of releasing intellectual property without paying the composers, musicians, and studios that own the copyrighted material. Myself, I have always purchased every single film score’s commercial release I’ve had interest in, and gleadly listened to any leaks that trickled down to me, AND purchased legitimate expanded releases even after having leaks. At least that’s my morality in it, and I’ve done that for many years now.
Secondly, if someone is fortunate enough to have this music, and they decide to take that risk and release said music, they release incomplete versions if (1) they don’t have it all, or (2) they have it all and chose to only release portions. Their choice.
Thirdly, the quality issue would be (1) they received it in compressed quality and passed it along, or (2) received it in studio quality and chose to compress it. Their choice.
So, I understand that nobody EVER has to release these things at all. And I understand that Scorepranos may wish to protect his source or himself. Nobody is angry or demanding, everyone is kind of like either politely asking or begging, haha. So I don’t see the need to get all angry and huffy about people asking for more IF he has it. That’s all. If he didn’t have it, then that would end it, correct? But he did say he had more and he did say that he compressed them, which is why he has more requests. If he didn’t want the requests, he either could’ve lied (and said he didn’t have any) or told the truth (that he is upset at all the requests). Now, he’ll get a lot of requests since he said that.
(Even me, please please pretty please gimme’! π )
I just hope he doesn’t start whacking people now. Since he is an evil score murdering mobster with a heart buried under all the corruption – either we’ll get more or wind up in a parking lot somewhere.
I mean I’m not a huge transformers fan but when I saw his posts here I was about to fall from my chair. I’m so unbelievable happy and thankful that he has the greatness and heart to share with us what is rare. If he believes in god then I hope god will bless him haha ^^
I really don’t care if this is 192 or the suites missing, be happy as much as you can for that what we got. I this is a huuuuuuuuuge present from him and he should be praised for what he has done for us. Enjoy the music like I do, and thank him as much as you can, he deserves it!
So thanks SOOOO much for these 3 beauties and hopefully you will be blessed with happiness and health in your life. π
I suppose this is getting beyond what I intended. I was originally responding to various comments made here:
Hans-Zimmer.com – Transformers – Dark Of The Moon (Expanded Score) (http://www.hans-zimmer.com/index.php?rub=disco&id=1100&id_news=&r_id=24312#comments)
Some of the comments are from members here. And I know I can’t judge intent of a comment by reading the words. But I found myself a little astonished is all.

It’s not just this thread (what might be a minority here is more in other threads). It’s happened before, and will most likely happen again, and again, and again. In this particular case, because it’s three thread, by the same author, on the same day, for the same series, it’s essentially being treated like one big topic by certain posters, and an excuse for demands/disappointments etc.
My personal opinion: So long as I can have the music in clean, stereo format, I don’t care what bitrate it is in, what format it is in, or (and this is stretching it a little because I’ve never come across a case like this but have heard of it) if the cue titles aren’t what they’re supposed to be. It’s the music, clean and available, so I am grateful for it. Bottom line: I am grateful to scorepranos for this share, have been with his previous shares, and will be with whatever he decides to share next. There are a lot of things I would like to see happen in the world of scores (my top three are in my signature) and it’d be a shame if that never happened because certain people couldn’t be happy for what they got, instead of always wanting more.

People may be seen as ‘ungrateful’ cause they are getting second generation stuff. Its like someone having a rare DVD and copying it onto a video cassette and expecting us to be thrilled. Yet when we ask why we couldn’t get a straight copy of the DVD – that the elite are still keeping and is available – we are branded as ungrateful. gee I wonder why!!
I get the whole "elitist" thing, but I do think that element is being unfairly judged, since we don’t know any of the circumstances or people involved. I just do not believe they are intentionally poking us in the eye for fun, as it were.

I had a 2nd or 3rd generation cassette tape of Arnold’s Godzilla score back in the day. I did not complain one bit.
This is not Burger King. It’s not your way, right away!
So thank you again … π
Omm…unless you’re Superman, NO ONE can hear the difference between 192 and 320 through an ipod or computer. But for those of us that play the music through our stereo, that’s when we can hear the difference
That’s because I changed it to "Xanthium Liftoff", because that’s the name of the ship. However, I’m still looking for a definite answer regarding "5m42 v1.0 Megatron in DC"
It is not an archive error in other words. If there is a 4 min track, it is not on this.
Just place We Were Gods Once from the OST, problem solved.

Problem solved indeed… and it works!!!!!!
:bearclap: when aliens come to investigate our planet, they will find that they do not need to attack us like we stereotypically portray them in movies.
one glance at our social structure and communication skills… they’ll sit on the moon with their long chairs and binoculars to see what we do to ourselves

Just place We Were Gods Once from the OST, problem solved.
Yes, that’s what I did. I put "We Were Gods Once" in place of "Megatron in DC". Now, how about "Xanthium (Shuttle) Liftoff". They sound the same, and I’m trying to distinguish even the slightest difference between the two. Is there a difference?
No, I think it’s a mistake of whoever gave these to Scorepranos. But they are both the exact same cue (mix and all).
As for the differences in the time stamps for these tracks compared to the track listing on HZ, that too is simple to figure out upon first listen… Each track presented here has a ton of extra time thanks to "blank space". Almost all of the cues begin anywhere from 6 to 12 (!!!) seconds into the track and also end up to 5 seconds before the end of the track.
This morning I dutifully cut out all of this unneeded silence and ended up removing nearly 12 minutes (!!!!!!!) from the total running time, as downloaded! THAT is a virtual ton of silence that didn’t need to be there, and the listening experience is all that much sweeter for it!
Checking my iPod, it runs 4:22

Ya, I did that all day today using iTunes. It’s too much of a pain to clip everything in Audacity. Bit holy shit,12 minutes is a lot. I have a feeling one day we’ll get a better version

Oh yeah, I used iTunes too… Took a few minutes, no biggie and so worth it.
LOL
Amanda, you can use iTunes to adjust the start and stop time of a song, input lyrics, album art…a ton of things. You select a track and hit "control + i" for info. Move over to the "options" tab at the top and you’ll see a "start" and "stop" for the track
5m41 v7.7 Traitor Sentinel
5m42 v1.0 Megatron in DC
5m44 v1.0 Go Get Carly
VS how they appear in the film:
5m41 v7.7 Traitor Sentinel
5m44 v1.0 Go Get Carly
5m42 v1.0 Megatron in DC
So someone either messed up the track order, or the slates are wrong. Not complaining, just pointing it out
BTW, fixed the "Megatron in DC" issue. "We Were Gods Once" actually does fit in there, don’t know where I messed up. So I swapped it, being "We Were Gods Once" I have in 320
Maybe it’s not in “Track1m0 Logos”(which I think it should be) , either in "1m1A Main Title". Then where is it?
And yes… Track5m43 is missing….or something.
Maybe it’s not in “Track1m0 Logos”(which I think it should be) , either in "1m1A Main Title". Then where is it?
It was a cue from ROTF edited into the score during post production. It was not recorded with the score. Hence why its not on here.
Anyhoo carry on.
(and some wonder why this stuff doesn’t happen more often)
Damn Right……i’ll drink to that!
And yes, it’s been answered a few times… a tracked cue is when they take music recorded for one scene (and sometimes one movie) and put it into another scene (and sometimes another movie). DotM has a couple of cues tracked from RotF. Not hard to understand why they are not there, as they are on RotF as intended. If you like them, edit them and put them in your personal DotM version from RotF. It tends to only happen with sequels from the same composers and filmmakers. It happened in the Star Wars (particularly the prequels) a few times and these TF sequels.
Still can’t help but wonder what the Laserbeak suite is… I LOVE that little motif, really only heard in the expanded score, not on the OST.

I assume that the poster have added extras not found in the complete score– End credits, a song by Linkin Park, and suites taken from the original soundtrack.
lookin for this now :
Iridescent – Linkin Park (4:00)
Sentinel Suite (3:16)
Battle Glorious Suite (5:55)
Driller Suite (2:01)
Death & Return Suite (4:43)
Conspiracy Suite (3:49)
Chicago Suite (7:44)
Our Final Hope Suite (3:42)
Communicating With NEST (Alternate) (1:44)
Well, Iridescent is fairly easy to find, even in instrumental version. As for the rest i wonder if they’re not the ones featured on the CD (or, since the CD has yet to be released, iTunes or if you prefer, Official Release). The times seem to match, except for "Battle Glorious", "Chicago Suite" and "Communicating with NEST". If they are, only those 3 are missing. π
Plump and written with the mallet, but great.
I’ll see if the 320 kbps sounds better, but my instinct says it was just up-codded from the 192 version.
Checked, sounds the same, only the 320 doesn’t have the blank spaces as the 192, but other than that it’s the same. Hmm, who knows, I’m just glad we finally got them.
Yeah, right.
75 tracks, I can’t say how much appropriated I am, Scorepranos. Yet something’s missing(check the title numbers), and yes they already talked about it.
Hope you can shake my world once more, with a ‘more complete’ score.

How about I just not share anything anymore? Would that be more satisfactury to you?
And what about the title numbers? Just because it’s skips around does not mean it’s missing score cues.
Remember the songs in the film count in the slate cues. So of course there will be some that looks like
they are missing cause they were more than likely songs.

Would you mind uploading "We Were Gods Once"?
The cue in question is from the OST album. Buy it. I can see the point of requesting unreleased tracks, but requesting tracks that are commercially available is a little lame in my book. Support the composers, musicians and producers of these albums and BUY this music! Do you think we will ever get official albums if everybody just downloads everything for free? I see you plan to be a future composer, so won’t you want to get paid for your work in the future? Or just let everyone take it? Nah, nobody has bills or food to eat, when we can all share! π

I believe that some (if not all) of the suites are from the original soundtrack versions.
one question, if anyone knows, which cues are film versions and which (alternates and such…) are actually alternate to what is on screen?
recording sessions are fascinating. everything from the cue numbers and official titles to the sheer volume of material presented as the composer intended… stunning.
thanks again

I do not agree. With some of the leaks, the only way to acquire it is to promise not to share, or share only lower quality. Sucks, but if one were to break that promise, you could get shut out of the sources, then no one would have any unreleased stuff. It is not a matter of worth, in my opinion, but just usually a matter of hands being tied. I have several archives that are "exclusive" to a private blog and can’t share. I DO NOT like it, but I committed to abide by that rule.

I am fully aware of that. I was asking DAKoftheOTA if he could upload it.

Someone has it. And it is easy enough to find on-line. I am gonna have to go find it myself. If I get it, I will up it. Remember that despite some comments, mods (sanico and Jessie both) have stated very clearly that anyone is perfectly free to request anything they want, so no big, no stress. :awsm:
Yes, I understand that. I’ve been listening and collecting film scores and soundtracks for maybe around 32 years now, and I myself, have unreleased music that I only received upon promising I would not share/trade/sell it, and I have always abided by that agreement when asked of me. What I was referring to was people requesting and sharing for free commercially available music. The track in question ("We Were Gods Once") is a whopping $0.99 on Amazon.com – I mean, can’t beat that really (to pay the composers, musicians and producers creating and providing this music – their intellectual property that they worked hard for). The whole OST album is what, $11-13 on Amazon? Worth every penny, as it’s a great album that covers most of the highlights of this score. This may just be me, but if it were me uploading, the tracks that are identical to the album tracks would be deleted from these downloads in order to encourage purchasing of the commercially available music, and make it "Volume 2: Unreleased & Alternate Music". As far as I’m concerned, all downloads are sampling, and I have always purchased it when it became commercially available. But that’s just me… I all too well know that many will not pay or work for what they can get for free.
Too tired to listen it now after reading some stupid comments….

Too tired to listen it now after reading some stupid comments….
Hmm… that’s strange. I read no stupid comments anywhere in this thread until now, myself. I’m only reading some posters attacking other people’s posts as "stupid’ simply because they ask [1] if higher bitrate is available (he said yes, but he will not provide them because that’s all you’ll get from him now he’s taking his ball and going home = case closed) and/or [2] the unreleased suites are available (he says he does not have them, so stop asking = case closed). Us commoner plebians only deserve the incomplete and the compressed, and accept it, and all must smite those who dare politely ask if more is available. Case is closed for both, so insulting posters is just lame.

I think that we should not say "complete" unless it’s truly complete – as there are dozens of alternates, concert/album/suite versions that either never see the light of day or are left off some versions and not others. Let’s save the term complete for truly complete? Perhaps for your newest version, we should call it "The GauthierG edit – Version 2.0"

As for the suites that everyone is still requesting, i dont know for certain but if this hasnt been said already, im pretty sure they are just some of the tracks from the officially released score been renamed. I realise according to the official tracklist some of them are longer/shorter than the versions on the offical score but i believe they are similar. For example, ‘The Driller Suite’ is pretty much ‘Shockwaves Revenge’ and the ‘Sentinel Suite’ is ‘Sentinel Prime’. If i was to hazard a guess (and it is only that its not official and i have no proof so dont berate me if im wrong) i believe it would go like this:
SUITE / OFFICIAL TRACK
Conspiracy Suite (3:48) / Dark Of The Moon
Lost Signal Suite (6:22) / Lost Signal
Noble Sentinel Suite (3:24) / ?? (Possibly In Time You’ll See)
Sam Suite (3:22) / ?? (Possibly Our Final Hope)
Sentinel Suite (4:36) / Sentinel Prime
Battle Glorious Suite (5:57) / ?? (Possibly Its Our Fight)
Battle Suite (3:37) / Battle
Laserbeak Suite (2:17) / (Not on Score)
Driller Suite (2:05) / Shockwaves Revenge
The Dark Suite (4:22) / ?? (Possibly We Were Gods Once)
Death and Return Suite (4:42) / The Fight Will Be Your Own
And what about the title numbers? Just because it’s skips around does not mean it’s missing score cues.

Killer! You ROCK!
Apologies if this has been asked before, I’m new to the forums, but can dark of the moon and revenge of the fallen complete scores be posted again please? I’m a huge fan and can’t find them anywhere.
WHy would you POSSIBLY want that when you can have this one?
Those new links don’t work either. Also, forgive my ignorance but what is a FYC on Ebay?
Thanks.
GASP!!!! You read my sig?!?! Well fuck me sideways!! π
FYC = "For Your Consideration", not Fine Young Cannibals. An FYC album is what the film studios put together and distribute to members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (A.M.P.A.S.) The members of the Academy then vote (out of the films that were nominated for the "Best Original Score" Academy Award) for which score should win the Academy Award. They are very collectible, and out of everything that’s out there, they’re what I collect. They’re on eBay all the time. What I (used to do) was buy them and share them here. But recently (and more times than I can count) someone will make a thread for them in the request section, post the link, and then I lose the bid as it skyrockets beyond my price range. So I don’t share them anymore, and that’s why I’ve asked people not to post them
I won’t upload them simply because it will take all damn night and I’m doing other things on the pc right now. But I am sure someone else will come along and re-up them.
Found this link in another thread, still works and am downloading now.
