Shostakovich: The Dance Album. FLAC+V0

Chailly made three Shostakovich albums for DECCA in 90s. The Film album has been posted recently. So I’d add the other two to complete Chailly-Shostakovich-Trilogy. This one has three suites: Cheryomushki, the bolt and the Gadfly. I’ve posted the complete Cheryomushki before. If you missed, it’s here Thread 111221 In this four part suite, you’ll hear some of the most entertaining music Shostakovich ever wrote. The Bolt suite is from a ballet. The Gadfly suite (Op. 97)contains selections from the film score with original orchestration. What we usually get is Op.97a, the 12 part suite compiled by Levon Atovmyan.
