Only one complete recording done by Chandos, combined Dutch orchestra and full Russian chorus, conductd by Rozhdestvensky. I was wondering why they didn�t use a Russian Orchestra, as in many other Chandos discs. I had this pair of CDs for many years, but they are 2nd hand, no booklet. While trying to find another set with the booklet, I found it can be obtained from Chandos website. However, one language appears to be wrong codes, perhaps Russian. Rests are in French, German, most important, English. A few years ago, the old Soviet film version was also released on DVD by DECCA.
Being busy, I only upload a MP3 (320k) version, which I hope will satisfy most of you. Hope you enjoy it.
