Like i Said before I Donk’t Know if this is the Complete Or Expanded Score. Just to mention that i include in this new list – new version 4 tracks from the original album "First Date", "Docking (Album Version) (aka Foreign Contamination)", "Robot Hallway (Album Version) (aka Repair Ward)", and "All That’s love About" which only appears on the original soundtrack.
Also, the album versions contains the robot motifs which we can hear in the original soundtrack, because in the version i posted before we cannot hear any of these motifs.
I hope you enjoy this, and sorry about the time to re-upload this fantastic score.
Thanks

can we also get a tracklist with length, please? And are the slates included?
See this:
I posted this track on November 24th, not last night 😉 Don’t know what drhouse is offering, maybe he included the source material (like the songs), which is not present in the recording sessions of the original score, of course.
On this version, it’s the 8th track and the slates are absent. So Someone out there has the ligit complete score.
I don’t get your logic. Just because titles include slate numbers, doesn’t mean they feature the complete score.
I’ll just keep my mouth shut and not get into it.
William
So, some of these tracks were pulled from the DVD? I can hear some SFX in the background, but only on certain tracks.
William
plus this:
hi williamtaylor1969 nothing were pulled from the dvd or a dvd-rip
equals this:
Williamtaylor, if you read up earlier a bit, you’ll see that this edit was done by scoreman. You ought to take it up with him if you want to learn more about the origins…or why there are SFX and apparently it didn’t dome from DVD audio…
thanks for the share!
It happens the same to me. Could someone, please, make a mirror?
I would normally love to do so, but my download hasn’t completed yet either.
Oh, yeah, when you put it that way it all makes sense. I’m a big Thomas Newman fan and I totally forgot that several of the scores I have of his have SFX in the intros. I guess it just surprises me that music from the recording sessions or some bigger release than the OST would still contain these SFX. I take back my last post, but will leave it up there because if we can’t change past anywhere else, why would I cheat and edit the past here?
Switching the subject slightly, I’ve not seen very many complete scores by Thomas Newman. I was planning to start a request thread for this but haven’t gotten around to it yet: can anyone help me in finding the complete score to Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events? I have done a DVD audio edit of the score and while it’s mostly complete, I just feel like it’s lacking. Another member here has a much more extensive work-in-progress edit of the score going on who would also appreciate this. So thanks to anyone who (first) actually reads this post, (second) acknowledges that they read it, and (third) can help me out in any way possible.
William

Wrong. The producers of the original soundtrack did not put SFX in it because WALL-E is a robot. Read the rest of the discussion from earlier. The composer, himself, Thomas Newman, chose to put SFX in the tracks because that’s his style. Listen to his score for "Pay it Forward" or "Cinderella Man". Other signatures of Thomas Newman usually include having some period songs included with the score as well as a unique piano theme (listen to "Series of Unfortunate Events" or "Shawshank Redemption").
I’m quite deaf, can you please pinpoint where exactly in Batman Begins & The Dark Knight all of this SFX supposedly is?
———- Post added at 07:48 PM ———- Previous post was at 07:47 PM ———-
(listen to "Shawshank Redemption").
He’s right. Shawshank has a few VA songs, the Soundtrack isn’t entirely Newman’s Score
I apologize to the OP for getting so off-topic; I guess this is what the unused discussion forums are for, eh?
2.) I know the OST front and back, I listened to it endlessly back and forth before we got the sessions, and I can’t hear anything.
Not entirely wrong because Thomas Newman was also one the album producers of the Wall E soundtrack, so to say the producers of the soundtrack decided to include sfx is not far from truth.
2.) I know the OST front and back, I listened to it endlessly back and forth before we got the sessions, and I can’t hear anything.
I think are the sounds that start and finish the album, who could be interpreted has sfx. If i’m not wrong it’s to represent the sound that the batman cape does in movement or something like that.
Thank you. I’m glad to have a chance to listen to this. Once again thank you.
I’ve just finished listening to this and I’m now completely confused.
What SFX?
I haven’t heard a single sound effect anywhere in the score, not even in the tracks which were on the original album. (I’m not counting the last eight tracks. All of those sfx are part of the music, which was never in the film in the first place.)
Second, it has a lot of new stuff I’ve never heard before. Particularly glad to have the Buy & Large jingles.
But…
Where is First Date?
and why was the perfectly fine copy of La Vien Rose replaced with a live version that seemed to have been recorded with the mic pointed away from the stage?
I don’t know if anyone has answers to these questions, but inquiring minds want to know.
Thank you a third (and not final) time,
JonC
In the case of Wall-E they are connected, because the sound effects was an essential element in this movie. Remember that there’s no line of dialogue in the first half-hour or so in the movie. It was all about Wall-E and Eve interacting through their own robotic language, among other robots and machines that appear in the movie, and then supported by the music score.
Now if the sound effects was a creation of Newman or if they should be included in the album, that’s another different story. I guess when the soundtrack producers (and you can credit Thomas Newman as one of them), decided to include some SFX in the soundtrack album, it’s because to them both SFX and music share the same level of importance in this movie, that they decided not to exclude some of it in the album, as they are pretty much connected.
Not that i agree hearing SFX (as a creative decision made by the composer and/or the producers), while listening a soundtrack though.
Thank you. I’m glad to have a chance to listen to this.
^^ ditto on this ^^
somewhere between this and the official release is a whole lot of good music. its an excellent score in general, don’t let the pixar/disney/kiddie association put you off if you have not heard it before.
Cannot agree with you more on this. WALLE is my favorite Pixar movie, and my second favorite Disney movie behind The Lion King. It’s a fantastic movie, as well as it’s amazing score.
I don’t know why the one who originally compiled this complete soundtrack decided to replace La Vie En Rose, but you could search the song (from the WALL-E soundtrack) on YouTube, and copy/paste the YouTube link in the website below, which lets you convert YouTube to .mp3
The songs that I’ve noticed missing are as follows:
First Date
La Vie En Rose (it’s missing the soundtrack version)
Repair Ward
This link will help convert YouTube videos to .mp3 YouTube to MP3 Converter – Video2mp3 (http://www.video2mp3.net/)
I’ve been a Pixar fan since Andre and Wally B
I don’t need the missing music, I just wanted to know why they were missing.

Batman Begins: first part of track 5 and track 6 starting at 2:12 and going on for 30 seconds. Like I said, I haven’t seen the movie, so I don’t know what scenes this music corresponds to, but these noises seem like they are supposed to emulate sound effects. Does that make any sense?
I remember when the King Kong recording sessions leaked and a bunch of people were complaining about a particular cue that appeared to have SFX in it. What was even more bizarre was that the audio in the movie where the cue is from doesn’t even contain those SFX. In the end, I think they concluded it was just how the track was supposed to sound.
Noises that don’t seem to be going with the rhythm of the music could be interpreted as SFX but I think composers intend them to be adding to the atmosphere as in the case with those Batman tracks. What Thomas Newman does is similar to that I suppose. I figured the tracks that have SFX at their intros just used audio from the film but that might not be true.
I don’t think so…but it wouldn’t hurt to bump this up
What does it really mean when one asks for the "real" complete score? Do you consider this share to be the "fake" complete score? Or simply the "incomplete" score? Or maybe something in a gray area such as the "almost-complete-but-not-quite-because-it’s-missing-one-track" score? Largely these definitions vary by person.
Probably the official version of the complete score? Or the bootleg but compiled by the composer? Hans Zimmer has a list of those in his website.

Thanks for your comment JonC and i re-upload the file with new additions and the album version of la vie en rose
And it’s not fx in the score that sounds are the robot motifs
is it because i’m on a mac?
you’re welcome cloudbase
Thank You…
Thank You…
It’s not complete. It’s the first disc of the complete cast & crew promo plus OST tracks. Some cues are still missing.
Thanx
also you can check my other post

thanks-
I am in the process of listening to the film, and so far all I’ve found that’s missing is, like you said, the cue when he sees Wall.e and then analyses the soil. We are also missing the cue when Wall.e releases the robots from the repair ward and the police-robots come after them. But so far, that’s it.
I think I noticed around 5 cues missing that appeared on the film – not to mention the cues that weren’t featured in the movie.
yes please

Any chance of a re-up?
Any chance of a re-up?
Um, no it hasn’t…? Try again. 🙂
I get "This file has been identified as a copyright protected work and cannot be distributed using MediaFire"
Never seen that on MediaFire before
Better use a not easily identifyable name or an abbreviation for the archive – even better rename it to a different file-type instead of zip/rar – and *always* encode it with a password.

I have. And it has become quite common with MF too. They even remove LEGAL material if it has a "similar" name.

Okay, sure, I’ll re-up it with a mystery name… Oh, and what do you mean by ‘rename it to a different file-type’ ? And how do I encode it with a password?
Good. 🙂
Oh, and what do you mean by ‘rename it to a different file-type’ ?
Well, if the archive is a zip or rar you just rename it to html or doc or odt or whatever. This will hamper automated software to "check" for "illegal" music uploads.
And how do I encode it with a password?
No problem.
7-Zip: Select your files, press "Add"-button. In the window that pops up you have an "Encryption"-option on the lower right-hand side where you can enter a password.
WinRar: Select your files, press "Add"-button. In the window that pops up you have to select the "Advanced"-tab to find the password option. It is recommended that you also select "Encrypt filenames" when doing so (its below the fields where you enter the password). That way, not even filenames can be "seen" if you open an archive without the proper password.
I hope that helps. 🙂

I did some work a while back and made a list of the missing cues, just for interest’s sake. I made up the track titles, obviously.
So, here is a list of the missing cues (italicised tracks are ones we already have, just there to show where the missing ones fit in):
Manuel / No Plant (2:20)
Discovered (0:08)
Define Earth (0:37)
Repair Ward (2:20)
Escape (0:40)
Robot Chase (0:57)
EVE at Pod (0:15)
Sit With Me (0:34)
–
Rogue Robots (2:02)
Halt! / Come and Get It (1:10)
To The Lido Deck (1:10)
March of The Gels (0:54)
Tilt (2:00)
Victory [R. Strauss – Also Sprach Zarathustra] (0:53)
The Holo-Detector (1:07)
I would think the same if I HAD a Mac lol
EDIT: I now have a Macbook Pro, and I do think of the very first scene when he charges up for the first time. It kills me
