For me:
Kameo: Elements of Power
Final Fantasy XIII
Yakuza 3
Time Crisis Razing Storm – Finished
Demon’s Souls – Finished
Viva Pinata
Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Tooie
Zelda: Majora’s Mask
Klonoa
and probably a lot others I don’t know if I haven’t finished or not.
Can’t remember how far I got.
Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Final Dungeon.
Red Faction: Guerrilla
The last assault. Tried a few times. Kept getting killed. Fun was absent. Gave up.
Super Mario Bros – stupid princess
Was going to mention Glover but I remembered I finally beat that last year :awsm:……. took over 10 years 😡 Stupid sea monkies!
Project Sylpheed.
Normally, I like space combat games, but I just can’t get into Project Sylpheed. Tried a couple of times, but no dice. Shame because as I say, I really like space combat game.
Dead Island.
I actually do like Dead Island a lot, but its a *really* long game, the first area is by far the best one, and it gets incredibly repetitive after a short while, so I can’t see me ever finishing it.
Assassin’s Creed.
I’ve never been much of a one for assassins, thieves or anti-heroes of any shape, form or creed (aha). More than that though, I find this game extremely boring and repetitve and Altair is a strong contender for most hateable character in all of video gaming. Every time I try and play this, he pisses me off instantly to the point where I climb a tall building and jump him off to his death, before turning the game off.
Two Worlds.
Still to date, the only game I have ever thrown away. I am a hoarder by nature, and I still have just about every game I’ve ever bought stashed away somewhere. I’ve given some away to friends on a permanent basis before now, but this is the only game I have felt the need to actually chuck in the bin. One of the worst, (if not the worst) game I have ever played. It was appalling in every possible way.
Final Fantasy IV, VI, VIII, IX, X, XIII
Metal Gear Solid 3, 4
Resident Evil 1, 3, 4, Code Veronica
Chrono Cross
Phantasy Star 1, 2, 4
Herzog Zwei
Revenge of Shinobi (really, can I be blamed for this?)
Spider-Man (Megadrive, PS2)
Grand Theft Auto 2, 3, Vice City, 4, San Andreas
Last Battle
Altered Beast
Ocarina of Time
Phantom Hourglass
Mario RPG
Fable
Soul Calibur 4
…and a bunch of other obscure stuff that I’m too tired to list.
I am working currently on ultima 7.I never finished it,but i had a rom copy on a cd.It was given to me for free ages ago.
Ultima 8:My dad bought me a legit copy ages ago.I got lost in the necromancers dungeon the first time, and i kept getting stuck on a switch puzzle that leads to the necromancer lair.
Ultima underworld:i don’t own a legit copy, instead it was copied on a cd and given to me.I didn’t do the copy myself, but i love the game.
Breath of fire 3:I own a legit copy, and some day i will have to sit down and beat it.I keep getting lost in that desert.
The list used to be bigger, but i keep beating games and adding new games to the to do list.It seems like an endless cycle.I have finished so many games that i hadn’t finished before recently, like:Resident evil code veronica x,resident evil 1,silent hill,
I had the ff legend games for many years, and i finally completed the last 2.Hopefully i will finally beat ultima 7 and start ultima 4 the quest for the avatar.
Ultima games are also a little more annoying to finish because of how long it takes to beat, and the difficulty curve.
Oh yeah:The beating of ff8 which was recent is also a new thing.ff1-4 6-9.All i have to beat is ff5 and X and i have beaten all the ff games i own.
I will most probably eventually finish them for completion sake.I actually like ff5,and i also somewhat like FFX gameplay.I’m kind of annoyed with the blitzball game though.
Every Final Fantasy game I have ever started.
Its happened to me with plenty of games. Only my stubborn insistence on eventually finishing every game I own, has allowed me to get over that mental barrier of ‘But I really don’t want to start again…’ .
Turn based JRPGs just arent my thing. I try to like them but I just cant, no harm done, thats why I rent them or my little brother buys them (he enjoys them more than I do). That being said, I enjoy most RPGs, FPS, horror, platformers, strategy, and some simulation games. I try to play and enjoy anything I can get my hands on.
Hey, that’s kind of like what I do 😀
Then games like kings field and grandia might be your type of game then.
More real time based combats i suppose would be the word, and first person view for kings field.
Also:You probably might like the FFXIII combat.
-Devil May Cry 4
-Epic Mickey
-Sonic Adventure
As far as other games I’ve played (e.g. rented),
-Sonic Heroes
-Sonic Adventure 2
i have a factory sealed blades of steel.

cant believe i didnt see this post before.
i beat empire and jedi already. but SW.. FUCK.
tonight, i feel awesome. im gonna plug my snes and play it until i beat the game.
That reminds me, I never actually beat Aliens vs. Predator, the 1999 release for PC! I beat the Predator and Alien campaigns, but I didn’t complete all of the bonus missions (which require beating the campaigns on all difficulties. The reason was that at that point, I still had to share my computer with my mom and sister (until 2008), and my mom periodically had our computer defragged. For some reason, this would erase all my progress and game saves, so I had to start at the beginning. This happened at least five times, and each time I beat the campaigns again. But after the last time, I said fuck it and stopped. Now that I have my own computer, and it’s not a total piece of shit, I can beat the game again and get all the bonus stages. But for some reason, I never got past the second Marine level, which is weird considering the first campaign of Alien vs. Predator (2010) was the Marine mission. But I remember it being damn hard and damn scary. I have to install it again and beat all the campaigns on all difficulties.
Final Fantasy 8 disc 4 never worked, would always glitch out. Then I would get a memory card error and had to start back from beginning.
Forgot I haven’t finished this one either………… I kinda screwed myself over and I just can not beat the gargoyle+oudogogue fight :erm: My bf was going to beat that fight for me…… but it wasn’t possible. I effed it up 🙁 I have to restart……..
Apparently it is possible to get 100% on one playthrough, but only if you do exactly what guides say (for instance, you must join the Youth League, not New Yevon, etc.). It’s much easier to do it in two playthroughs but it still requires you to do almost everything in the game. I tried to get 100% in one go and thought I did everything but still ended up with 99%. The "perfect" ending isn’t worth the misery of doing every single thing though.
I’ve seen the ending on youtube already but I still want the satisfaction of doing it.
Reason: Shadow Queen is impossible for me to beat
Donkey Kong Country Advance
Reason: Tanked Up Trouble was impossible for me to beat
Sonic 2
Reason: I always got Game Overs at Wing Fortress
Pac-Man World
Reason: Game never saved after any level completed
Reason: Elite 4 is too hard
Sonic 3 & Knuckles
Reason: Barrel in Carnival Night Zone
back on topic, Disgaea 4 although im workin on it now.
Donkey Kong 64. I have never gotten all 201 golden bananas mainly because of the stupid beaver bother mini-games and minecart mayhem mini-games.
