"A Christmas Story" has been a TNT staple the over years, sometimes runing non-stop on Christmas Eve.
Here’s an expanded version containing the original "Paul Zaza & Carl Zittrer" score, plus many of the lesser known tracks heard in the background of the movie.

Many of the tracks were collected from various people over the years and frankly some are still very difficult to find.
But I think you may find this collection pretty close to complete and definitely enjoyable.

Firstly, it runs non-stop on TBS. I have never known A Christmas Story to be shown on TNT. Ever.

I think it ought to be as easy as contacting Jessie or Sanico and asking one of them if it could be moved. Reporting the thread doesn’t feel right to me–you’re not breaking any rules…It’s just that there is a much better place for this thread. 🙂

Very weird. Here in The Big Apple where I am, it runs for 24 hrs on Christmas Day (technically starting at 8PM Christmas Eve and Ending 8PM Christmas night) on TBS. Completely different station. They may both be owned by Ted Turner, but they’re still different stations.

I guess Ted Turner owns everything!

@William: it was previously posted in the request forum, and someone moved it to this place earlier today. Our conversation was dealing with the time that it was in the wrong place, and it’s not like they can easily remove posts.

Yes William, the above is the track listing for this compilation.
As I mentioned earlier, the music has been collected from various sources over the years, including the official 20 track release and placed in the proper chronilogical order.

This version fills in the blanks by adding in most of the missing songs; if you look at the included track list text file, you’ll see where each song is played in the movie. What’s still strange is that the official tracks sometime combine multiple "stings" or "cues" into one mp3 file. I did not attempt to dissect them.

But I hope you’ll find this version enjoyable.

It’s been on TBS for the last 5 or so years. However, TNT has played the movie around Christmas time in the past. The last time I saw the movie on TNT was 2007/2008. TNT also used to play "The Wizard of Oz" during the annual TBS showing, but I don’t think they did this year.
