If you follow the link, it says…
All tracks haven’t SFX. Maybe the Track "Protego Maxima" will Contains something little.
Yeah, I don’t know why the media player is so slow on these tracks. Blame the blogger on the blog. Music on that blog is pretty lame, anyway.
I tried to find this other expanded score of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 with all these tracks except the themes and alternates. However, I some how can’t find it. I’ll try and upload it some time.
Seriously. I wish the blog never existed
Why?! It’s fake as shit
This is fake. It doesn’t that good, but I’m just trying to contribute.
Ah. In that case, we’ll wait for something authentic. Thanks!
LOL
IKR. That blog is such a huge fail. The fags who run it can’t even speak proper English
Also people here cant write English for shit "This is fake. It doesn’t that good, but I’m just trying to contribute."
Seriously, learn to fucking write in English. Being foreign isnt an excuse, you just sound like a fucking retard.
// END RANT.

I guess you speak lot of different languages to make such a constructive comment. There are other languages in the world apart from English.
I don’t care a shit if my previous comment is correct english or not (american english or Oxford english.. even Jamaican english) but I think it is easy to understand even for a retard.

I speak and write english as well as I can; not too difficult really as I am English and have been at it for a very long time. As regards its correct usage, let’s face it the cat’s been out of the bag on that one for a very, very long time.
I’m occasionally irritated by its misuse, but more often amused… Fake as shit !… lol… I’ve been to the toilet, and believe me mine is as real as it gets.
I don’t care a shit if my previous comment is correct english or not (american english or Oxford english.. even Jamaican english) but I think it is easy to understand even for a retard.
Nope, I only speak english and have a basic understanding of a few others. However, this is an ENGLISH site, SPEAK SOMEWHAT PROPER ENGLISH. Im not asking for people to talk like a proper high class british man, im talking about basic english skills so you don’t sound like a creepy foreign guy. Oh and Algonrei, I can’t think of a time where your english was bad enough piss me off.
I would like to see you try Google translate.
Yeah… Scouse to English is never pretty !.
I know this is an English speaking site. I don’t know if it is English as I don’t know who is the founder.
I understand that not everyone has the same level of English. In any case we don’t have so many philosophic discussions here to be necessary a high level of English. Almost everything is "understandable".
No pun intended but the only times I have problems to understand the whole meaning of some expressions here is when you talk about dicks, gays, shit, fuck in the same post. Believe me it is hard to follow for a non English speaker :))))
Coming back to serious words. What I don’t understand is the use of some expressions or comparisons when criticizing someone for not writing proper English. That’s why I made my "inappropiate" comments. Because I found them so inappropiate that made me mad.
Please refrain from using the word "fag" on these boards. Thanks.
Uh.. who are you?
And "fag" is singled out for attentiion…

No comment, inexcusable!!!
Sorry, this thread looks like fake.
I would very much love to hear this as all of the audio of Prisoner of Azkaban is littered with non-removable voice echoes. I’m curious to know: have you invented a program that can filter out those voice echoes? Because at this point in technology, that move is impossible.
There will be less sound effects, than in the official version of Complete Score’s
I have to argue this point though, considering that the official versions of the complete scores should not have any SFX in them at all.
You’re fed up, eh ?. Think yourself lucky that you weren’t born 60 years ago.
WTF is Warner’s problem. They probably think the same about you.
The LOTR releases were a one-off. Never assume that anything else will ever get the same treatment.
The Simpson’s, Dark Knight, e.t.c got that treatment…. because they were stolen.
You’re not a juvenile by any chance are you ?.
CDs of "complete recordings" may not exist for everything. bishtyboshty was right; the LotR complete recordings were possibly a once in a life time deal. Just because that happened does not guarantee it could ever happen again. He’s also right in saying that the complete scores we do have are only available because someone stole them out of the vault.
The usually record the same piece 100’s of times.
I’m not familiar with the piece you describe, but it may have been a solo violin piece recorded separately, and overlain on the orchestral track.
You must not realize that a lot of stuff has been digitized in this day and age. They can record all the instruments in separate channels and mix them however they please. There are differences between soundtrack versions and film versions of tracks, but I don’t know why they choose which versions to pick to put on the soundtracks. Given the recording sessions to just about any score, you would be able to see that a lot of tracks have alternate versions, extra inserts, and even music that never got used in the movie.
Its called multiple takes, they usually play and record the piece a bunch of times, and edit the best parts together, so for example it might look like this: 0:00 to 0:30 is Take 1, 0:30 to 0:50 is Take 14, 0:50 to 1:40 is Take 120, and 1:40 to 2:30 is Take 45.
The orchestra performance may just be the start of the process. Each instrument can be miked, and the volume levels increased or decreased in the final mix. The cost of this can be huge, and will never be possible for a CD release.
So your dictionary specifically says that orchestras perform music? You know that orchestras are made up of instruments, right? If an orchestra doesn’t have any instruments it can’t play any music. And sometimes, a composer wants a sound that can’t be produced by your everyday orchestra so once he has all the instruments he wanted to use in a piece recorded, he’ll go onto a computer to create those additional sounds that he wants to have. Much like most everything else these days, computers are used a lot in the music industry.
EDIT: this conversation is going absolutely nowhere. I’ve experienced situations like this in the past…how much more explaining will it take for us to give you total understanding of the whole situation?
The Simpsons Movie is 20th Century Fox, and The Rock is Disney. To my knowledge, I’m pretty sure the legit sessions for The Rock have never actually surfaced, only rips and fan edits.
But The Simpsons and The Rock have absolutely nothing to do with Warner Bros.
Regardless, the music that they recorded at the sessions is often different to that which is heard on the film release. A composer naturally has their own view on how their music should sound. The music editor decides on the film version, but the composer decides how an album should sound.
Like Dimensioner, I think we are going round in circles here. Just accept that this is how the real world is.
On a related note, why wasn’t this thread closed ages ago? All it is is TheGreatShoutOuts re-posting a falsely expanded BS edit that came off of that fake-ass blog which (is now thankfully gone).
Simply saying "sure, I can be trusted", wouldn’t cut it.
Back in my relative youth (1990’s), I would pay out 30 or 40 pounds a title, just for incomplete boots of extra music on CD’s.
In reality, anyone who had such things now would only be interested in trades.
Oh, about Statues, the string runs played during the first minute of the cue are in the movie but in the CD it’s very low mixed. Though in the movie, the strings runs continue when the shield is surrounding the castle, but in it’s not on the CD. Also, the chorus and the trademark synth pulse that Desplat uses on his movies are very low mixed.

Wow, a lot of your tracks have four or five alternates; I’ll bet that’s more than the actual recording sessions have.
I don’t see how any of his alternates are alternate at all. I can’t hear anything different whatsoever.
This was fake. It was the OST with music from the other films mixed in.
And, it isn’t that difficult to find what on the OST was used in the movie and where. All you have to do is listen to the OST and then listen to the movie. Better yet, you could listen to the movie on a laptop where you can pause and rewind as much as you like. Better still, you can just extract the audio off said movie and analyze it side-by-side with the OST in an audio editing program like Audacity. Keep a notepad and pencil next to your computer to take notes, or just use a word processor to type our your notes.
Can you guys imagine what work manowweik1995 could be capable of doing if he actually put effort into his rips instead of having a 100% unedited extraction-into-tracks, all tracks have SFX rip? Where, oh where, could he look to find such a guide that might be able to him help out?
Well, you probably won’t find it – my guess is that everyone deleted it once they found out it was fake.
That’s kind of a harsh assumption to make, isn’t it? Some people don’t know the meaning of fake (like the creator of the edit in question). Some people don’t care whether it’s fake or not, and so what if it reused stuff from the older movies? If that’s what the movie did, then some people might prefer having it all already arranged for them. However, if that isn’t the case–like I saw that blog do in other scores, where if an edit is being generated for a sequel, it just uses random clips from previous movies to falsely expand the edit–then I could better understand why everyone would have deleted it.
Besides, aren’t there some members on here who download stuff regardless of whether it’s something that interests them or not for archival purposes in the very case that someone wants a re-up ages after the links have gone dead?
EDIT: Woah, that’s a really long post! I guess it might be shorter if I’d been posting my thoughts as they came up instead of all at once. Sorry if it’s tl;dr, but y’all should still try to read it.
There’s lot of unused stuff. Nicholas Hooper said that he makes even seven hours of music for every film. Desplat said that he made more music for Deathly Hallows Part 2 than Part 1, and Part 2 is shorter than Part 1. Also, the demos of Part 1 has lots of unused/alternate music.
God knows how much stuff was written by the four composers of the saga, and still it’s not heard by anybody except the people who worked on the scores.

Does anyone have part two of the Deathly Hallows?
Question: I thought a new thread policy presented sometime early last year or even the year before dictated that when someone uploaded a new score, they had to create a new thread for it to make it easier to search for or something. How come manowweik1995 doesn’t have to do that? I mean I guess it’s okay that he’s posting all his uploads in Porko Rosso’s thread, but posting them all in this Deathly Hallows thread as well makes absolutely no sense. I mean if he’s posting them here, why not put links in this thread as well: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/harry-potter-philosophers-stone-2001-expanded-score-85124/?
Thx.

Don’t give him any ideas 😛
I think his "alternates" are just the mono form of the score. So they’re not really alternate.
Thx.

This is the one I would like to listen to. I look forward to hearing your revised edit. Thanks.
No, and for good reason – there is no complete score.
This thread, here, is for a fake edit for Part II of the Deathly Hallows. Beyond this fake edit and if mannoweik1995 has done an excessive DVD rip of it yet, there is nothing else available apart from the OST, of course.
How do you know that those tracks are missing? I’m not doubting what you say but is this one of those cases where the track list appeared before the demos appeared? It’s kind of like how the complete Pirates 4 demos consisted of 106 tracks, but we only got 41 tracks to begin with, followed by potentially 18 more tracks before the full thing was just uploaded. That sort of situation is discussed here: Thread 113904. Or, do demos for those tracks simply not exist?
So it’s not the complete demos. Or the demos for the other cues doesn’t exist.
Why do people keep posting in this topic? The whole thing was a fake. The original uploader was a guy who wanted attention so he faked this and thought we’d all be stupid enough to think it was real.
A friend of mine has found a way of completely removing the vocal echo from surround sound tracks by using a parametric equaliser (among other plug-ins I think) and very good ears! I’ve watched him do it a few times and it’s incredible to behold!
Ooooh! If I could get my hands on one of those, I could make some complete Bionicle scores. And Harry Potter, too!
There isnt any software or plugin able to remove ONLY the vocal without touching the BGM… Its impossible because the track its merged by sub-tracks on the process… It can be that the listening is good with minor SFX but removal without "damagin" the BGM is not possible.
Although I’m new to this site and shit, I have a program than can remove sfx(but it’ll effect the BGM as well). But if he says his friend did it, and I did some research on this, I’ll maybe believe him…. I just hope this isn’t another troll.

Yes it is possible to remove trace vocal echoes and not only have I seen the process in action, I’ve also got examples of stuff he’s done for me (‘The Phantom of the Opera’ 2004 film version mainly – both the front and rear surround sound channels are dripping in vocal echo for the most part). Also, music is just a combination of frequencies and it’s just a question of finding the exact one you want to remove, before using another tool to filter it out. However, what he can’t remove without damaging the score are solid sounds just their trace echo. Finally, never use the word impossible or do you not know what happened to the Titanic when they claimed it was unsinkable?!
Anyway, will post some before and after examples…
EDIT: If you guys want the Audacity version plug-in, then here ya go. It’s called "Parametric EQ"
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Effect_Plug-ins#Parametric_EQ
Also, I am in a Circuits course and the unit we’re on right now covers band-pass, band-reject, high-pass and low-pass filters relating to electronics (I guess those things for audio are slightly different).
Also, it’s not a stand-a-lone programme, but a process he’s developed using the parametric equaliser in Cubase and several plug-ins, and does take a great deal of time to do (up to half an hour per 5 seconds of track in some cases).
———- Post added at 06:48 PM ———- Previous post was at 06:44 PM ———-
What a coincidence! The last guy I talked to who knew someone that was working on a voice echo removal tool ALSO used "Phantom of the Opera" as his demonstration of the program! It must be the same guy. I hope the executable file becomes available sometime soon. I absolutely follow your logic that music is just a combination of frequencies and it is just a matter of finding the frequencies you don’t want.
I think we’re one and the same if it was via pianofiles LOL! I’ve just had him working on a mult-channel super audio CD of the ‘Phantom’ soundtrack (highlights version only unfortunately) and he’s going to be playing me the results next week, which I’m greatly looking forward to!
And, I would also like to make a formal apology to you for being such an asshole when you were a new member here. I’ve usually been doing alright avoiding hurting people but that morning I guess I just snapped. So, I’m sorry and I’m glad to see that you have returned to this forum and to continue contributing what you have.
I hope to stay updated on the progress of this program (because at this point, it still kind of seems like it is in the same place as it was when I last heard about it around a year ago. LOL!).
Anyway, will post some before and after examples…
Indeed, i can see your point.
Theorically its an impossible thing, IMO you cant split the frequency of the BGM and the vocal/SFX to a 100% accuracy level. But ei, if you say its possible i will trust you but as far as i know in the process of spliting the mixed channels, frequencies, etc. it would be a completely chaos to split (again, im talking bout the 100% levels of accuracy) the tracks. I dont know how many tracks was used in the film, but more channels, more difficult will be. Among the years there a lot of people who are trying to completely remove (F. Ex) the Dragon Ball Z SFX of the unreleased tracks (and other animes too) but in the end, there were always something that make the tracks to not to sound clear (Just as my poor english!).
The only thing i can think that maybe is what are you referring its that its VERY possible to split the SFX/vocal and BGM without noticing or slightly noticing the "Clicks", unwanted SFX, etc. in the process. I suppose people who arent used, or are not masters at this, wont notice nothing and say "Wow, its true! 100% SFX free!!!" and the people who are dedicated to this everyday (as composers, "heavy (not music)" listeners, etc.) will say, its not 100% free. Just like what happens with people who havent "good" ears to difference FLAC between a 320 CBR (My case, for ex.).
Sorry for all that megapost, but as you can see imnot an expert so i dont know if im or not right, but at least this the way i thought till now. U^^.

You’re missing the point. I’m talking about removing the vocal echo trace that’s often mixed into the front and rear surround sound channels NOT the centre channel full vocal and any and all SFXs! Also, my friend is a professional sound engineer who first worked on the ‘A View to a Kill’ soundtrack at Wembley CTS studios and not some amateur!
Now all makes sense. I understood other thing, sorry. And i havent said nothing about amateurism or something like that ;).
The Thread That Could Not Die….
Shocking!! Horrific!! Terrifying Beyond All Bounds! Illogic Running Rampant!! Explanations of basics explained again and again in vicious, bloody circles. English wording and grammar brutally abused and mutilated. And, a couple of sick fucks laughing at it all!! 😯
Hurry, see it now, just in time for Halloween…:)
Y’all are sooo…cute when you play :awsm:
The thread has since been hijacked by a group of us to talk about vocal echo trace/reverb removal from the surround sound channels of such DVD/Blu-Ray releases as the 2004 film version of ‘The Phantom of the Opera’. Can we keep it and perhaps rename it please? 😉
Its like seeing myself in a mirror! …Scary…
I know i know, my english is the worst thing you’ve ever seen xD.
Well, if this thread is for talking about an expanded soundtrack which never existed… Why are we talking here about parametric plugins and computer soft’s?
Never mind that this thread was resurrected. Who cares about the original subject matter? We all know it was a fake and we all know that we know it was all a lie. Sometimes threads take on new purposes. I’d recommend dividing the relevant material into a new thread, but I’m not sure that can be done. We don’t need to close this thread; threads get closed because of idiots and/or jack-asses. I see none of those here.
Sounds good to me LOL!

To Quote The Lion King…
"Look closer…"
This is not real. It’s a big fake.
And it is for that reason that I doubt anyone here has it.
Could someone please re-upload this soundtrack, that’d be awesome. I know this soundtrack isn’t a fake because I used to own it; however my laptop that it was on was stolen recently.
Thank you

Well, you’re wrong. It was absolutely, positively 100% fake. What you may have had was the OST.
So this is a fake? Back to dreaming of the possibility of a complete score then.
Yeah, it’s a fake made by some idiot in his basement.
And it is for that reason that I doubt anyone here has it.

I don’t believe Part 2 was ever released in surround.
It was, but Warner Bros. official download page has been taken down, same as with Part 1. Oddly, the page for the Half-Blood Prince is still working.
Take a look (or listen) for yourself:
