Warning: This is not strictly videogame related. However the vocalist of the duo freesscape, Emi Evans, has performed on the NieR soundtrack and is also going to perform vocals on the upcoming Ace Combat: Assault Horizon soundtrack.

If you liked the NieR soundtrack because of the vocals, then maybe this is something for you.

I got all physically available albums from CDBaby in the last months, and I’m now sharing:

I strongly suggest to support the artist by buying the albums. CDBaby is really asking some fair price for it. Hopefully we’ll get to see lots of more material from Evans.

First of all you should a little more verbose. I can’t read your mind, you know 😉

Heh I guess, not much to explain though, I try to extract with winrar and an error windows pops up saying" Unknown method in Freesscape etc" and with 7zip it says "Unsupported compression method for freescape etc"

Which version of 7zip are you using? The most recent stable version is 9.20 (released end of 2010). The archives were created with 7zip 9.13 (released in April 2010).

Uh huh so this is the same Emi Evans from Nier, well then definitely gotta give it a listen.

Nier’s score is simply one of the most beautiful vgm soundtracks in a really long time, and a lot of it depended on the vocals.

These are excellent albums. I actually bought them a couple of months ago after looking up Emi Evans. ‘A Sign of Affection’ is probably my favorite across all three albums. Grab ’em while you can ’cause they’re pretty nice. You can get pdfs of all their lyrics from their Facebook page also <3.

A little note about "Now Is the Point…": I added two tracks to the end of the album, ‘Beast in the Vault’ and ‘Shining Through’. These two songs were on an EP called Lost Petals that had those 2 songs plus ‘Lost Petals’ and ‘Storm’, both of which are already on "Now Is the Point…". If you’re an album purist, just delete the last two tracks. If not, you’re welcome.

Oh yeah… the password is ‘freesscape’ without the quotes.
