This is the yet-to-be-officially-released score for the 2000 thriller, Frequency, composed by Michael Kamen. This *updated release* was created from the region 1 Bluray and while most bootleg releases of this claim to be complete, in reality they aren’t. There are two (or three) instances in this rip where the audio engineers who handled the isolated score apparently didn’t know what they were doing and allowed some of the composer commentary (center channel) to bleed into the other channels but it only happens in those instances. All of the bootleg releases skip two or three shorter cues with the commentary bleed while for this one, I managed to rip them and get rid of most of the vocals so it doesn’t ultimately make those tracks unlistenable. The commentary pops up during the beginning and end of said cues. Apart from the commentary bleed, the sound quality is very soft but far from unlistenable. Anyway, enjoy the only COMPLETE release of this score anywhere.
Why did this movie creep you out?
How cool a premise, it’s like an updated Twilight Zone episode that presents you the opportunity to connect with your long lost father and ultimately change his fate.
Also doesn’t hurt it was chronicling the year of The Amazin’s.
That year you should have been watching Dinosaur or your fav actor Tom Cruise in MI II. *Corrected by my proofreader GrayEdwards
In my earlier post I stated MI III just which was inaccurate as well as erroneous.
Haven’t watched the film in some time now.
Can’t wait for Ghost Protocol.

I agree Ghost Protocol sounds like it will be a winner.
Love it.
Congrats on 1,000 posts, by the way.
If not, could you perhaps tell me which tracks are the Main and End titles (if they are not the first and last tracks, respectively)?
Yes, this is possible. I do this in the day or tomorrow in the after-noon. But no worries.
A + + +

Is it an official promo or just a bootleg sourced from the DVD’s isolated score track?
Thanks very much! I saw this movie when I was younger, and it has remained a favorite! Very excited to listen to the music from this fantastic film. 🙂
Would it be at all possible to re-up this release?? I have been looking around forever for this. Thanks in advance!
Thank you Cody!
what I have been listening to is only 26 tracks
sadly links are down 🙁
Thank you!

Thanks!!!!
Typically an isolated score’s commentary should be affixed to the center channel with the music in the other 4 channels but back in the early 2000’s, New Line would master the isolated score tracks to where the commentary would bleed into the front channels which made editing jobs like this a bit more frustrating.
As for the links, I cannot re-up since the hard drive that my FLAC and MP3 files are stored has been unoperational for quite a few months. Alas, I simply do not have the time to re-rip, re-split and re-tag again. My apologies for letting you guys and gals down.
well that is hardly the case friend, it is out of you hands if your HD is down
I know how much trouble ripping 5.1 stuff can be (ATM I am working on Pale Rider)
Anybody want the 26 track (No SFX (unless my ears are bad lol)) version I have?
I could upload it tonight

Hi cdmaster88. Thanks for this! Any chance you could make available Michael Kamen’s commentary?
