Thanks for the upload. Poor Lorne Balfe’s name is so small on that cover.

Coz many people would like to pay for hans, not Lorne Balfe.

I also guess it’s better for marketing when a game company can say: "Look! We’ve got Hans Zimmer!"

Didn’t even know an official soundtrack was in the works. Thanks!

Any chance of posting a lossless version?

It’s a digital-only release, I think, so no lossless.

God dammit… is it so much to ask for a full release of the awesome Infamy trailer song 🙁

Ahh well, This soundtrack is still awesome never the less.

Thanks!

EDIT:

Here’s an amended cover for those of you who think Lorne Balfe deserves as much credit as Hans Zimmer!

I think he deserves even more. He did the full score and Hans just wrote the themes Balfe used. But I have the same problem with Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) – Corbeil wrote it and Badalamenti did the themes.

Nevertheless, I think releasing the score now is quite late. And there’s even no quality upgrade. I guess I’ll prefer the gamerip then.

Well, in my opinion theres quality upgrade. Some tracks are really great mastered and mixed. But i think they didnt chose the best tracks, so this release wont relieve bootleg.

Well you know what they say.

PHENOMENAL SCORING POWERS, itty bitty credit space.

since there are three topics about this release (sorry for mine, I havent spotted it somehow), I’ll paste a post from mine to get a better chance of a proper response:

"after giving it many listens I pronounce this album very good. However it lacks 5 things:

1. The tracks arent in chronological order
2. Contingency is too short
3. I miss Cliffhanger intro
4. I miss favela intro
5. I REALLY MISS Infamy trailer theme (I emailed IW about it but Im not expecting to get any answer)

I came up to an idea to make a revised version of this album, by arranging the tracks in the correct order and adding the ones I mentioned above. I just need a hand to properly tie the tracks with the events in the game:

01. Opening Titles (3:25) – no question about it
02. Extraction Point (3:35) – DC ending, green flares
03. Breach (3:22) – gulag
04. Guerrilla Tactics (2:58) – rojas chase finale
05. Seige (4:05) – DC burning
06. Infiltration (4:27) – not sure…
07. Espirit de Corps (3:07) – dont know
08. Retreat and Reveille (2:57) – shepherd’s caves
09. Ordinance (1:58) – airport / soap + price solo mission
10. Contingency (2:15) – russian naval base
11. Onwards (2:27) – gulag
12. Code of Conduct (2:09) – airplane graveyard
13. Chain of Command (2:00) – dunno, I only recall this theme from multiplayer
14. Safeguard (2:43) – snow mobile chase
15. Deadline (3:55) – oil rig
16. Protocol (3:47) – zodiac chase
17. Coup de Grace (3:21) – russia invades / ghost dies

Please, help!"

Infiltration is from "Of Their Own Accord" when you’re taking over the building and the crow’s nest.

Chain of Command is from the second mission I think.

Have no idea about Espirit de Corps though.
