It shouldn’t be…
EDIT: I redownloaded the Zshare link. No password.
Some fileshare websites [Megaupload] will use an existing file and give you a new download link if the file is already present. This can be a problem because, as in this case, the existing file might be password protected whereas the one I uploaded via Sharebee wasn’t. The difference in filesize is miniscule, so the fileshare doesn’t notice it.
I’ll check all the Sharebee links and leave up only those that aren’t passworded.
———-
EDIT 2:
I checked them all except the Megaupload download [deleted; it was most likely the culprit, seeing as MU does "instant uploads" with existing files].
Which fileshare did you download it from on the Sharebee page? Was the archive itself password protected? Or did you get lost and end up at a PREMIUM DOWNLOAD fileshare account login page?
Me personally I didnt think the game was worth $15, but the soundtrack is DEFINATELY worth the $4! I have the feeling that SoulEye guy is a cool cat, well deserving.
Donated! (seems the download I got differed a bit from the one in your links)
(Go here to buy: http://souleye.madtracker.net)
Although this is something I wouldn’t really feel bad paying for
Guys its four dollars, its cheaper than most lunches and it directly supports the composer. Why wouldn’t you just buy it?

Maybe just "maybe", some individuals don’t have the access to this ability?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAnyway. This shit is awesome, is there anything else like this?
Check the artist’s website. He has some free chiptunes available in his downloads page.

Well then, some good 8 and 16-bit soundtracks I’d recommend are:
CHO REN SHA 68k (Thread 51363)
MiniShoter RS Delta (Thread 60281)
"Chiptuned Rockman" and "Rockman 9: The Ambition’s Revival!!" (Thread 61566)

If all else fails, snailmail the guy some cash in an envelope! That’s what my cousin did.
At the very least I’d drop him an email of praise if I hadn’t paid for it. But I did. So I wont. The $10 will speak for itself! π

Hmmm, how about keygen music? Any "best off" collections out there?
EDIT: Ok, I did some good searching on my own and I think I’m pretty good for now.
People wondering what I’m talking about should check out these two pages:
-Actionman
-flullu blobbo lolz
-geisha love
-krakbound
-smultronstellet (any allusion to Bergman’s masterpiece ?)
-ultrahappy
-xerxes lives in me
Seriously, this guy totally recaptures the spirit of NES era, his talent could be widely appreciated in numbers of indies games. The soundtrack is absolutly worth 4$, plus the guy is cool and answers quickly.
If you guys know any similar tunes it’d be appreciated.
That guy can produce music and
the game is interesting and quite difficult.
By the way, thanks for drawing my attention to this and thanks for the share. π
Updated first post. Reuploaded MP3 and FLAC to Mega.
I updated the links in the first post. (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/pppppp-vvvvvv-soundtrack-73278/#post1408430)

My apologies. When I reuploaded the file, I only provided the FLAC version because it supersedes the MP3 version. I was also unable to edit the title of my post.
I argue that a user could use the FLAC version and convert to any lesser format as needed. Though I do understand that a readily-available MP3 version is convenient.
I updated the first post (Thread 73278) with a 320 CBR MP3 version.
I love chiptune, a little part of my soul died when Crystal Castles broke up/Alice left…
