Yes John Murphy used to send out promos of his music to fans on cd-r (including a white fold out with the tracknames)
I got Sunshine, Both 28 days/weeks later and Miami Vice from him and this was before 28 days/weeks got official releases and before the i-tunes release of Sunshine…
