I Think My Friend Is Mistaken About The Ending…

We were talking on MySpace and he said that Auron has to become Sin now. Personally, I don’t understand how he got this. Auron is unsent, they defeat Sin, Yuna sends the aeons and the Fayth becomes no more. We know Auron is unsent to begin with, so how could he possibly come up with this conclusion?

Sin is finished because Yu Yevon was destroyed and they broke the chain of the ten year calm etc etc.

Auron and Tidus disappeared because they were just dreamt up by the Fayth and had to return to the Farplane.

Auron did not become Sin.

Nope, Auron’s just plain old dead. As is Sin.

I think your friend needs to replay the game…

Or your friend could play X-2– then he’d had have to acknowledge plain as day that Spira has been freed from of Sin’s menace. Auron become Sin? The way that people became Sin was by becoming the fayth for the final summoning. The final aeon would defeat Sin, but would then in turn become the new Sin. Yuna and her party defeated Yunalesca — "Summoners and guardians will be sacrificed for the Final Summoning no more!" – Auron

I am kinda wishing though that Yuna was sacrificed, as she really annoyed me in X-2

Thank you for replying. I showed him this lovely piece of information and said that no matter what, he would always think Auron had to become Sin. He’s played FFX-2 and said it was the "gayest piece of crap ever invented" so…Thanks anyway though. I appreciate it!

LOL, well sometimes people just make up crazy theories and nothing can talk them of it, even if the source material (in this case, the game itself) should make it perfectly clear that the idea is bogus.

All the same, it’s confusing. Did Yuna sacfifice herself in FFX2?
