Mark Mancina is indeed one my favourites. I got both Blood+ albums once they became available.

I have a question however. I know nothing of Anime outside Akira or Ghost In The Shell and I was wondering how one was to actually pronounce Blood+. Is it "Blood And…", "Blood Plus" or "Blood Cross". I haven’t lost sleep over it but it’s bugging me.

It’s "Blood Plus" – I guess I never thought about it being anything else, though. And I’ll agree that it is good music.

Amen. It really help set blood+ aside from other Anime x].

I especially love the vocal track "Diva"

Oh and the cello pieces played by Hagi can only be found separately on a different cd.

I don’t really remember the music in Blood+ being that impressive. Maybe I was just so underwhelmed by the series itself to notice.

However, I’m surprised that an American composer did the original work for an anime and not just the dub version. Cool.
