metal gear solid vs splinter cell

i became curious on what one people prefaired and why so that is why i made this

people prefer MGS

MGS is one stellar series, this poll should prove that.

I dont like the controls are they are to akward. Metal gear solid has a better control system better stealth system (you dont have to hide in the dark) and in metal gear solid you can go around shooting everyone especially in 3 (though i don’t recommend it)

No in MGS1 you wouldn’t run around trying to kill everyone with the SOCOM because that would be stupid. I ran around alot with the stogun in 3 and just fired away it was so funny seeing their bodies flying through the air. Volgin was so easy I barely had to use the tranquiliser gun i just used CQC

That made it a lot of sense except for the typo that was supposed to be shotgun

I own 2 metal gear solid game and own 0 splinter cell games.

Which would tip the balance in favour of MGS if it wasn’t already a lot more popular.

I think it is obvious. I obviously got into the alert phase at the start and the only gun i had was the SOCOM and there was 5 guys chasing me and shooting at me. I nearly died and i had no ammo left. I think the first post of this was easy enough to read.

I hated MGS’ gameplay.

MGS series wins because there’s just so much more fun and many weird things to try out especially on the bad guys( eg. drop poison mushrooms and see them eat) The story is also engaging and the characters are very memorable. Splinter Cell can be too serious at times and too many trial and errors kind of turn me off a little. Story is also not really interesting unless you’re a big fan of Tom Clancy novels.

how is it better

I like MGS better because it has a more in depth story than Splinter Cell. The only thing I really like about Splinter Cell is the number 3’s multiplayer.

Well SC’s multyplayer is a failure in many ways but the main one is that 1 team is in third person and the other team in 1st person.

What are you talking about? Spy vs. Spy was a really awesome and fresh multiplayer experience, and the one for Double Agent looks extremely fun as well.
