Doom 3

I would have to say that Doom 3 is one of the scariest games i haev ever played. I really don’t like to play it but I do mainly becuse it plays so well. I haven’t beaten it yet, i’m almost to hell, but from what i’ve seen it is a very good game.

i was seriously dissapointed with doom3. i reached a point where it was just a chore to continue on at all. the story does NOT help you to keep going. your just "oh hum, i know whats gonna happen what a fucking predictable plot if i’m lucky they’ll surprised me in the ending and give me something cool."

but…no. it was just dumb. the original is still the best.

I found the gameplay very exciting, I really didn’t care what was happening in the storyline. I will say the storyline is extremely predictable and a bit dry, and I scare very easily so even if I know whats about to happen I still screem or jump depending on who or what just happened.

I didn’t even bother to finish the game. After a while, it got so easy to predict where the next monster was going to jump out at me that it just seemed boring. Sure, the game had plenty of atmosphere, but it focused way too much on scaring you and not enough on being entertaining.

Also, I still think it’s retarded that you can’t hold a gun and a flashlight at the same time.

I thought it was way too predicable. Apart from the obvious scripted action sequences it was the usual "Built like a brick shit-house marine fights off monsters from hell". I wished they would have put a more appealing and original spin to it. :/

Anyways, i thought it was trash.

Well, I guess this game is only for the easily scared than. Even when I know whats coming I still get scared.

i got scared too. but for a modern game such as this, it would have been great if there was more than just that. they did try to add more (story?) but that just made it suck more. and since the game is indeed long O_o (too long for its own good) it later becomes a chore just to beat it. -_-

it should never be a chore to beat a game.

Yeah, i’ve not got to far (manily caues my x-box is at my dads house) so it hasn’t become a chore. I’m alittle past the chain-saw part so i’m just enjoying cutting everybody to pices. =D
