Yes it is possible. You must keep playing the season and tournaments and one of the prizes will eventually say ‘Play the Zanarkand Abes’ If you beat them than you can trade players with them, you know what that means!? Yes, you can have Tidus on your team. Same thing with the Besaid Auroches.

If I remember correctly, Tidus (and I think maybe the Abes too) is only accessible in New Game Plus. I never messed around much with FFX-2’s blitzball though, so I’m not sure…

No, I don’t think so, I think you can get the Zanarkand Abes durring your first play through too. We should ask Jewels, maybe she knows.

Yuo can win the abes in the first tournament, but you will have to win it. And it is like impossible to win against the luca goers, Guado glories, Ronzo Fangs and Albhed psyches. I can only win agaianst Larbeight and he’s team.
