GF Strategies

hey i need some help getting the gfs:

jumbo catuar
bahamut
eden
doomtain

if anyone can give me strategies to get them that’d be awesome

The GF Eden is got from Ultima weapon in the deep sea dospit. It is located in the soutwest corner of the map.

Have you tried gamefaqs.com. This could help you with the others.

Jumbo Cactuar – Cactuar Island; approach the cactuar that randomly appears on the little surfaces of the island. When you’ve touched the little cactuar, you’ll engage in a battle with Jumbo Cactuar, defeat it, and you got him.

Bahamut – You obtain him in the Deep Sea Research Center(a.k.a. Warship Island). There, you will battle two Ruby Dragons, then after that, choose the third(hidden) option, and you’ll battle Bahamut. Win the battle, and you got him.

Eden – You obatin him(her?) in the Warship Island also. After defeating Bahamut, talk to everyone in the Ragnarok, the go back in the Warship Island with Zell(or whoever you want) and go all the way down until you come face to face with Ultima Weapon. Draw Eden out of Ultima Weapon then defeat Ultima Weapon and you get to keep him(her?).

Doomtrain – You can obtain him by using The Solomon’s ring. You can get the Solomon’s Ring at Tears’ Point. After that, collect 6 Steel Pipes which can be obatined from Yellow-Green monkey monsters that resides near the place where Galbadia Garden once stood. Collect 6 Remedy+ which can be obtained with GF Alexander’s GF ability Med Lvl Up. You can convert remedies to Remedy+. Then collect 6 Malboro Tentacles from Malboros found in the Island Closes to Heaven. Then use those 18 items to summon Doomtrain.

ive been fighting cactuar but i cant beat him

chances are i wont be able to beat bahamut ultima weapon or doomtrain either

If you can’t beat Cactuar then you are in trouble, I found he was quite a simple(but long)fight.

Cactuar is simple. All you need is to have a good supply of water magic. Have two characters constantly cast Water on Cactuar since that is his weakness. The other Character should summon Leviathan, depending on Leviathans level.. the attack should be close too 9999. Occasionally you are going to have to heal a character after Cactuar uses its 10,000 needles attack.

For Ultima weapon, what I did was have a supply of Hero’s and Aura’s. I would first cast Aura on each character so I would get their limitbreaks then I would use a Hero on each character (making them invincible, I believe you can get 100 hero’s from Laguna’s card when its modified). Limit breaks did the most damage. I recommend that you summon Doomtrain after you aqquired him so some of Ultima Weapons’ defenses are lowered.

You do not have to fight Doomtrain.

And Bahamut is easy, just summon and use limit breaks… he should be down in no time.

Darn! I worked so hard to write that!

Junction Water to your elem atk, then have Squall use the Meltdown+Aura+Lionheart combo and he’s done. Your other two characters can serve as a healer, or they can also cast Water magic to Cactuar.

Also, if you can’t beat Bahamut, and Ultima Weapon, leveling up is the answer.

no the easiest gf to fight was cerberus
