remake…

Ive seen a "technical demo" for the PS3 coming out, and it was of the intro to FF7.

Then i heard somewhere that SE is going to actually remakeFF7 for the PS3.

Now is this just BS or is there official proof somewhere?

The "tech demo" for the PS3 was simply to show consumers what the PS3 was capable of. if you notice, the begining of it had nothing to do with the FF7 opening video, they were most likely just playing around with ideas, and saw that the beggining of it was simmilar to the FF7 opening video and said "hey, why not remake it? it will hook all of our long-time SE FF consumers into buying our new product!" so no, there isnt going to be a remake, it even states in it that it is a technical demo for the PS3…sorry, i was a little shaken by the whole thing, and dissapointed come to find out there isnt going to be a remake.
i cried when i was watching it, because the graphics were so good and it was my favorite game of all time, digitally remastered…

Honestly, I don’t see the point of remaking FF7. It’s already great as it is. If it’s such a great game then why the hell do you still need it remade? Seriously, if you just want some good graphics, then wait for Advent Children.

Thats very true. The stories the thing i like the best in games not the graphics. I won’t be against a remake but i won’t really be with it either.

while i think a remake for the graphics would be good, i have to agree with rinoa, mainly because if they were to attempt to "remake" it, it wouldnt justify the original, they would have to change to much to make it more modern. better graphics would be a plus, but the bad points of the remake far outweigh the good…
