Hey guys, as an avid FF7 fan I am hoping to sway the feelings of Square-Enix people into going thru with their mention of a possible remake of FF7. I have recently started an online petition and with enough signatures I tihnk we may be able to have an impact. I was going to start up a thread like this but then i put final fantasy VII remake into google and two petitions already came up both have near 1000 signatures so i would say get your petition up on google and other search engines to get more votes

i just wished they made it for ps2 not ps3

if it gets remade for xbox i will shoot myself after blowing up microsoft headquarters for trying to monopolize the video game market by stealing hit games.

But i wouldnt mind seeing it remade for PS2 if they didnt change anything but the graphics.

It would be nice if it came out for PS2 too for those who can't afford or dont wanna buy a PS3. but since this game would take a while to make and the PS3 is coming out soon, i doubt they will keep making PS2 games.

FF7 is getting so much attention... What about FF4 or origins? Can't we remake the ones in dire need of a remake? I mean FF7 is ok. But origins, surely we could remake them to have better graphics. I say forget FF7 for the time being and focus on the older ones.

all of those have been remade with better graphics..i doubt their will ever be a third remake...and i doubt there will ever be a remake of ff7...it doesnt need to be remade...its perfect the way it is...cept for some of the stuff they had to scrap last minute to make deadlines such as part of the fucking story...i imagine that we would of been jus as happy waiting one month...then gettin an incomplete game lol

oh dear..i bought origins...i played it for like a day...and only saw one of the fancy 3d movies it came with...but what made me not like final fantasy I, is that it was like all the other RPGs at its time, you picked out from a gorup of people, who were not prenamed, and were stuck in a story which might of been ok, if they put more effort into the gameplay, and maybe a bit better storyline.

i played some of final fantasy 2, and it was a little better, but it still was not too great...@_@

on th other hand, Final Fantasy VII, some people have made a religion off of it, and is a excellet place to make money! Which is why sqaure enix must be stupid if they do not release a remake!

i never played final fantasy 3,4,5,and 6 ...but i saw a few screen sots of final fantasy 6 and 5, and those might be good

square have definately signed a deal with x-box and it is rumoured that most of their future games will be on Xbox2. I would prefer to see an ff7 remake on xbox as it is way more powerful than PS2 and thus would be better. However, as many have mentioned, ff7 isn't the most needy ff game of a remake. I would love to see ff4,6(cos the graphics suck and it all seems so shallow when you are just looking at sprites) and maybe even 8 as it is less 'arty' and conceptual than 7 and I feel it would really pay off from voice acting and decent graphics.

i actually do not like voice acting in my RPGs...text is all i need baby. And sprites are awesome in the old final fantasies...i personally think that the remakes for the old FFs for PSX was good enough...they dont need to be 3d or anything...they jus needed to be on a current system so the young kids of today...not blessed with the 8bit - 16bit generation can play em.

signed your rep, i dont even mind if the game does not change at all, obviosly there will be serveral changes that may be jenuine mistakes, they have to re-write the game again for the new 16bit(not sure if its 32). i belive there are two types of people who want a re-make. 1)liked the game style, didnt really understand the storyline, want the game to be re-made just for better graphics. 2)(this is me) people who would love for it to be remade, they dont really care what it comes out on, they would love for there to be a less rushed ending and more of a insight into other charcters upbringing (yuffie red13 ect). well thats what i thimnk anywayz cya

actually...XBOX has way way more capabilities than PS2 ever dreamed of...so its really cool in that manner...but im still a PS2 fan all the way!...W00TNESS!

x box is to clumpy!!! the size of the controlers! its like holding the green giants balls, and it looks ugly 2, the ps2 is simple easy and quick!! te-he

the reason its bigger is that it has a actualy HDD that is built into it...which you can very easily upgrade to whatever size you wish...as for the controller...its jus as comfy as the ps controller...yes a lil bigger...but still comfy. The xbox is cool cuz you can set it up where you can store games on the HDD and play em straight from the xbox which is actually really cool. And its not like a car...it doesnt really matter if its ugly. Its pure functionality when it comes to consoles. And the only thing making it ugly is the size really.

i disagree, i dont think it is confy at all, the basic layout is the same as a ps2, why didnt they come up with something origanal? yer you can set it up to save the games on the xbox, costing you a little bit of money..............but what is he point??? no serieosly what is the point, a disk is what..... 30gramms? why bother? its clever i give it that, but completly pointless......

nope...cuz you can rent games, and store em on yur HDD for later play...and return them...for say a PRG that will take more than a week to beat if you say...have work, and school like me. And it only cost like 50 dollars to get it set up to do it...not much considering the money you save doing it, therefore not making it pointless as you have it. And since the ps controller is rated the best controller out there...its no doubt xbox tried to copy it a lil bit...but they changed enuf on it to make it "their" own. I actually like how they set up the two analog sticks and the D-pad. I think this is the only part of it that rivals ps2's controller...im not sure why.

see over in england its 100 pounds, which is a lot about $160 dollors, so i suppose it isnt that bad if you live in america but in england its a big buy.
