No, you can only play that mini-game during Disk 3 before Alexandria is destroyed.
All you win is some cards and a key item, which is useless. It raises your Treasure Ranking, however, but you can still get a S-ranking without it. If you can’t be bothered and can care less about having one extra useless key item, then just skip the game.
