My Poor Bed

I’m having problems with a girl, and they’ve driven me to poetry:

We kiss, and I could take it or leave it

But when my bed�s bursting lips touch your bursting lips,

He says he�s never tasted anything better

I suck on your jaw, but it doesn�t give me any pleasure

My bed does the same, though, and his eyes shine blue with ecstasy

I barely remember our first night together,

Because it didn�t mean anything to me

But my bed is writing a poem about it instead of sleeping

And when we sleep, I don�t enjoy it,

Because you keep me awake

Wouldn�t you know it though, my bed leaves his contacts in,

Just so that he can see you clearly, and as you are

Last night you said that we couldn�t sleep beside each other anymore,

And I haven�t thought about it since,

But my bed hasn’t thought about anything else, and he�s been inside himself all day

Dude, I am SO confused.

I’m sorry that it’s so confusing. I wrote it as if the girl that I wrote it about was watching me, and after re-reading it, I can understand how it wouldn’t make much sense to anyone else.
