Why Must We
Run Like Rabbits

why must we always
run
like rabbits
everytime the sun
comes up?

can’t we stay
to watch the dew
fly away?

what is fresh
about the
bone crushing
sprint?
tell me what is fresh

if the spiders web is
snipped and the
piano slips from
god’s hands,

don’t cry to me
when I advised
a departure from
the foliage
never cry again
never to me

let go of
my palm &
no more
touching because
now i know what’s
best

He told me what it was about, but I won’t tell anyone else. What does it mean to you people? I like how broad it turned out to be. It’s something a bigger group of people can feel and trust.

I can’t picture this in my head for some reason.
