Final scene in FFX. *spoilers*

What did you think happened to Tidus when you first saw him swim toward the surface in FFX? After you saw the rest of the scene in FFX-2 was it anything like you imagined? And do you think that the good ending in
FFX-2 ruined the ending in FFX?

When I first saw it in FFX I thought he woke up from Yuna wistling because the way he kinda smiled when they showed him swimming to the surface. And I think in some ways it ruined it, but I really wanted to know where he woke up.

I thought that even the fayth said he would disappear he was still somewhere in an alternate reality or something, and I think X-2’s good ending made the end of X even better.

I never expected it to be like that. They showed the beginning of the good ending of FFX-2 at the end of FFX. I don’t mind I guess, it was ok.

before i played ffx2 i knew he was in besaid, but i thought it was like yunas dream. then i played ffx- and the lightbulb clicked. lol

The ending scene before the credits made me cry, but after seeing him swim towards the surface, I smiled.

I think the good ending in X-2 ended the X/X-2 games perfectly.

You’re kidding me. That scene was just repulsive. The only good thing was when Tidus finally vanished. I smiled then. When he came back in X-2, I wanted to hurt something.

So, the X-2 ending just pissed me off. Let gay and crippled dogs die. And if they don’t die, shoot them.

I think he must’ve been ‘somewhere’ in the Fayth’s keeping, otherwise, they wouldn’t have been able to bring him back. I’m not even going to try and come up with a theory for what happened to him after he jumed off the Airship, til he appears in the After Credits of FFX/Good Ending of FFX-2, back in Besaid, but even though I can’t STAND Tidus, I’m glad for Yuna’s sake that they brought him back.

it was such a good ending

I thought he was in the Farplane, the first time. The second time i realized he was in a sea and my first thought was the besaid island. When i played ffx-2 i was sure Yuna was talking to Tidus, and that let me down. It was obvious! "it all became when i saw this sphere of YOU"

I like the Ending on FFX and also The good ending on FFX-2. When I saw Tidus swimming up it made me happy and i smiled.

The Ending on FFX and FFX-2 good ending was perfectly! But FFX-2 kinda ruined the game sequel. ”Sigh @ Square-enix”

i thought at first, that after tidus jumped out of the airship, he fell in the ocean in besaid island, then woke up from conciousness and got reunited with yuna. then i realized there would be a ffx-2 so i was happy.

the ending of ffx-2 was kinda okay with the ending of ffx. i’d say ffx-2 didn’t really ruin ffx’s ending.

Yeah, I definitely thought ALL FFX-2 endings ruined the FFX one. I don’t think the FFX ending was complete but i think that they could have done a much better job with X-2’s ending (well, the whole game for that matter…). it seemed really cut-and-dry, no mystery or small loose ends left open at all, which I think you need in a good ending.

I agree with what a lot of people have said here, I think the good ending in FFX-2 concluded the FFX series in a good way. FFX-2 itself wasn’t that good, but I still played it and enjoyed it.

On the main topic, I didn’t see the FFX ending before I had played through FFX-2 with the good ending. So I kinda got it when I saw the scene (wich I downloaded, fyi). But if I was to guess the place I would have thought the Farplane, actually.

I kinda liked the end of X-2. You know, them getting together again, but it took a little away from X. I didn’t really get it. I mean, was Tidus just in a ball under water for two years? Some one Plaese explain this (i’m talking about the good ending of X-2)

i have not yet compleated FFX2 yet but i do not know if i like FFX ending though… i do but i dont i hope you know what i mean
