Whats the point of the Omega Ruins if there is only a Lvl 4. key sphere in it?

There is a big point:

Omega Ruins is easily the best place to level up in the game. Not only can you get a lot of Lv. 3 and Lv. 4 Key Spheres there, you level up at an incredible pace; Especially if you have Double and/or Triple AP abilities equipped to your characters.

Oh, well I never thought of that.. Just most of the hidden places on the airship have good items at the time =). So I thought they al had some good items..

Yes, it is a great place. If you don’t have double/triple AP abilities aquippment yet, you’ll get some in there once a while. 🙂

And if you want to capture all the monster for the monster arena, you must go there, too. 😉

According to amefaqs Omega ruins is like one big time challenge thingy. adn if you complete it you can get 99 warp spheres.

You get the Warp spheres if you open all the boxes and the last box is always a fiend. Nearly all the boxes come in groups. In every group there is a box containing a fiend. If you open them all and you have one left it’s a fiend. All the opened boxes add up and the more boxes you have, the better the prizes get. If you open a box with a fiend, all the others in that group will disappear, making you unable to get all the boxes. I was told the box containing the fiend is random, so that makes it difficult. And if you touch a save sphere, the counter resets to 0 boxes. That means you could get a few lvl 4 key spheres as the first box is always a lvl 4 key sphere. But then you would miss out on the other prizes.
And yes its a good place to level up, get weapons, items and gil.

It is actually, If you need some S.Lvls for a certain ability (Ultima followed by doublecast followed by flare) it is useful

And you fight Omega weapon there!!!!

Ultimate ond Omega Weapons give you the Genji Shield to bring Tidus’ HP over 9999. Mine has 23,459 HP because of it.

You only get a Genji shield for killing Omega. But fight around that area, and you can get some double or triple AP weapons if you’re lucky. And it is a good place to train your characters. 😉

Omega is the last guy right? Not the first one but where you have to walk a long ways to get to him.. I killed him with Anima and I never got the Genji shield..

You didn’t? Are you sure? Maybe you just didn’t see it. I had this problem before. :erm:

But don’t worry, the Genji shield raises Tidus’ HP, but this equipment has no extra slots (or only one, can’t remember). I never used it, because of that. 😉

What do you mean? If you can get others in the game? Or do you mean inside the Omega Ruins? :eye:

Well, in the game you can get others. And even if you don’t get any, you can still create your own equipment. 😉
