FF8 PC – Save Anywhere – HOW?

I don’t have a lot of time to play these days and can’t seem to be able to make a lot of progress with saving as is (not to mention that this game is a bit too hard for me).

I need something that let’s me save anywhere. I’ve been searching for a long time but the only thing I’ve found is the second utlity on this page:

However, I can’t seem to be able to get this to work! I can start FF8 with the utility, load a save game, whatever, but it can’t find the ”address in memory”. Does anyone know what the cause of this is?

If not, isn’t there any other way to save anywhere? 🙁 🙁 🙁

I’ve heard of this sort of thing. In fact, I used it myself on Final Fantasy VII. Try loading the game first and start play, then try the editor again. That may work.
