#SPOILER# Eiko & dagger/Garnet

In the game when Brahne dies you find out she wasn’t really her mum and that she was from Madain Sarie (soz 4 spelling) and that they could have been sisters etc and it goes on about this for a while and then nothing what is the point in that ?

Its easy…let me explain….brahne always wanted a daughter….she had 1 but she died….1 day they find dagger on a small boat….and for some odd coincidence she looks like the queen’s daughter except for 1 thing..she has a horn…so they remove it……and then they adopt her….all in all this scene was just to explain the origin of dagger….since her past (much like zidane’s) is clouded in mystery…dont know if this is the answer u were looking 4 though….

in memoria though zidane sees Daggers memory of her and her mum in the boat and what ithe deal with Eiko being daggers sister

The tribe of summoners lived in Mauri Sari (whatever the place is called). I think the place was sent on fire or something so Garnet’s real mom took her on a boat to escape. Garent’s mother didn’t make it, but Garnet did so Brahne adopted her.

Yeah, there’s a link with Garnet and Eiko. My memory is sketchy, but the pair can both use the Eidolon ability and both were involved with the summoning of Alexander with that crystal dohickey.

Hmmm, I don’t think they’re sisters, well, maybe cousins, but sisters, no.

I mean her mom died. And well, I’m pretty much guessing the third person on the boat was her dad. He didn’t seem to make it either so, yeah, they couldn’t be sibs. Well, unless someone adopted BOTH of them hehe ^_^ orphan girls 🙂

They could either be sisters or cousins. I was told they are for sure related.

The best I can remember is that there’s no hint at any relation between them. But you know country folk… In one village… Not much genetic material to go around…

But they’re definatly not sisters. You see Garnet’s mother at the start running from the Invincible (well she’s in the storm made by the Invincible) and Eiko says she was conseeved after the Invincible’s visit. Plus the time scale Garnet’s mother dead Garnet was 4 (excuse inacuracy) with a six (is it) year old Eiko and 16 year old Garnet it just doesn’t add up.

I get it now. They could be just cousins then.

Like I said country folk. I doubt there’s a word for how they’re related lol 🙂 😉
