Hi there!
Is there a way to enter Macalania Temple again without having to battle Dark Shiva? I missed the destruction sphere there and I need the treasure to get Anima…help…:(

Either use a save game or start beefing up your characters. There is no way of getting in that temple without beating Dark Shiva.

I guess I’ll have to beat her…duh!

If your Characters are weak and you are having trouble beating Dark shiva. Just run into the battle with Yuna with her full overdrive, Grand Summon Yojimbo, Pay him 1.3million! and hope for Zanmato… Yes Zanmato works on Dark Aeons

1.3mil won’t work. It took me quite a while to get Yojimbo doing that. I should post my Yojimbo guide later to help people out with it.

I was reading something about Affection levels, basically you need your Ypjimbo to ‘trust’ you. 1.3million worked for me tho

If you do want to use Zanmato to defeat dark Shiva your best chance is to go to the Calm Lands (The Calm Lands is a good area to do this as Yojimbo’s evasion is high enough for the fiends to rarely touch you at all) and have Yuna summon Yojimbo in every battle for an hour or so and if you start of paying him about 10,000 for the first 5 or so battles and then slowly decrease the amout you give him (i.e 10,000 to 8,000 to 6,000) until you get to the stage where he will use Zanmato most of the time when you only pay 100 gil, then if you go to fight dark Shiva and offer Zojimbo Something over 1,000,000 gil then he should use Zanmato.
