OK,Simply how the f**k is nanaki related to Bugahagen,what kind of family is that.

I don’t think that they are ACTUALLY related. I think it was something like Nanaki’s father died at Cosmo Canyon and Bugenhangen was the person in charge there and he took nanaki in afterwards.

It is just culture, Bugehagen is like the "cheif" or "wise one", yet he is named grandfather to everyone. There aren’t related, they just have culture like that.

Bugenhagen is the mentor of Nanaki.

If you check Cosmo Canyon, you see that whilst Bugenhagen lives in the observatory, Nanaki’s Room is in the back of the inn/ pub. Therefore, Bugenhagen was only a mentor to Nanaki, as if he was his real grandfather he would hae given him a room in his house as he was fond of Nanaki, but Naaki has his own room at the back of the shop.

Yeah dur there is no way that Bugenhagen could ever possibly be related to RedXIII(getting tired of calling him Nanaki) because that would be Animal cruelty in it’s finest. And what are you talking about this thread is dead? This thread will live on forever until you are as old as Bugenhagen!!!:D

It could be minutely possible that Nanaki and Bugenhagen are related…
Remember when Aeris is kidnapped and Hojo plans to mate her and Nanaki to produce offspring with a long lifespan? The same principle may also apply to Red and Bugen. Red’s race might really be capable of reproducing with humans. It could explain why Bugenhagen is so old.
