Who here plays this?
I have played through each level and find it absolutely fantastic. My best characters are of course Aragorn, My Leggy Loo Loo *cough* I mean Legolas, and Gandalf.
I have yet to unlock three secret characters. I really hope two of them are Faramir and Eowyn. This is in my opinion the best book-first-film-based game yet.
So what are your views upon this game?
I simply adore how the gamer is given that feel that they are in the film. Due to the fantastic grahpics and excellent gameplay. It may get a little repetitive but nonetheless it is still a very worthy addition to a hardcore gamer’s collection.
Killing Orcs, Goblins, Uruk-Hai, Easterlings, Ghosts, Oliphaunts, Ringwraithes, Cave Trolls and…*shivers* even giant spiders is very therapeutic indeed.
Milliardo! To the Black Gate!
I mean it’s all right Sezi.
The game is AMAZING. Just putting it on and having the feel that you are there in the midst of battle fighting for something that is worth fighting for. The gameplay is amazing, easy to handle and this is a game that I personally will never tire from.
The graphics are outstanding, I feel as if I am actually in Middle-Earth doing some good on the planet.
Lets hope you’re right Sezi about the secret characters because it would be so cool to slay orcs as Eowyn and show that Witch-King there are those that can destroy you. The real big-up of this game is the actual feel to it and the effects it has when you feel that you are one of the fellowship and are doing your part in the Lord Of the Rings.
‘I do not fear Death’ I love hunting all creatures of Mordor with Aragorn son of Arathorn.
‘A DAY WILL COME WHEN WE GROW TOO OLD TO PLAY SUCH GAMES
Come Sezi …
THIS DAY WE PLAY!!!!!!’
*THE CROWD GOES WILD*
p.s. I have all the secret characters unlocked and know who they are :p

Hahaha, damn the fact I’ve subscribed to Nintendo Power because I know who the secret characters are…but of course I ain’t telling ya. 😉
The environements vary as do their objectives, the new interaction between the world (like the big sticks…I forget the name, and the lava), the number of characters, the two player installment works fairly well too…the game has greatly improved from the first installment.
My only reluctance is that such a game went seemingly all out action and perhaps would’ve done better with some adventure elements, earlier on. Not so much staged but maybe a big world. In addition, there is some obvious recycling of moves to characters and some of the locked characters have basically the same moves and objectives as others, but by the merits, this is a solid game.
Of course, you can play as Gandalf, easily the best person in the movie, and also in the game.
If I remember correctly, there will be a trilogy. I’m hoping they’ll continue to have ambitions to improve the game even further. Maybe make Eowyn playable along with maybe a few others.
Completed it 2 times now, Aragorn, Legolas, Sam and others are now level 20…HA BEAT THAT!
yeah its a good game..
PS: The secret characters are Frodo, Merry, Pippin, and Farimir. NO EOWYN.
Yes I’m an asshole.
Yes I’m an asshole.
Hmm…quite.
But it doesn’t matter. I unlocked them now :p
