character designs

I was wondering if they ever use real people as models for the characters on these games. I saw a picture way back of a woman who supposedly was used as the model for Yuna. Just wondering if there is any truth to this or are they just all 100% made up. Thanks in advance

I don’t know about FFX but in FF8 the design of Squall was based on a Japanese Singer

I’m pretty sure a good number of characters were modeled after a real life person or something. There are some exceptions though (most of FF9 for example)

If it�s true that they use real persons as models I want to meet Auron! ^^

No really… er… I should ask them if they want me as a model… so I can make a goood cosplay. 😀

But well, I can not really believe that they use real persons… although it would be cool… hmm~
