Sorrow

I wrote my first poem in grade 4…i matured early from early divorse of my parents, heh, i suppose thats no excuse..just thought i’d share my poem.

Sorrow
sorrow is blue like a dead blue flower
and also like the appearance of the deep blue night sky.
it takes through my mind like the sight of an ocean.
and makes me think of falling into a deep blue sleep.

Your poem is very metaphoric. You wrote it in the 4th grade? I think I wrote poems a lot better when I was in the 4th grade. ‘Sorrow’ seems to remind me of more emotions than just sadness. I think it was a nice short poem. 🙂

In 4th grade I’d prolly have written about boy bands or sumthin… X_x an odd child I was..

Heh, that’s really emotional. I can’t believe you wrote that when you were so young, but don’t take that the wrong way. It’s a very good poem so keep it up!

Ack! I didn’t mean it that way…it was supposed to be a compliment. I was trying to say that the poem was good because I used to write poems when I was in 4th grade and they were better than the ones I write now… >.<
