Omega WEAPON

was Omega really that hard for you and how long did it take anyone here to beat him, it took me three hours because he was my first Optional boss and has 1,161,000 HP at lvl 100?

It took me about 30 min. on my first time. I also had all characters at Lv. 100. I used Squalls Lionhart, Eden, aura, and a bunch of other stuff. Well sounds as if you deserved your win after 3 hours. Think about trying for 3 hours only to be defeated in the end. That would suck.

Took me about 45 minutes. It was quite fun actually. It would have been more fun if he was a lil bit harder though

The first time it took my aprox. 20-30 mins to finish off the beast. I thought he was hard enough. The reward was small, but the pride of beating the hardist boss in the game was the best.:D

that happened to me once before i beat him, 2 hrs and 45 min into it and there, Meddigo Flame… Death!!!!!

i beat him in about 30 min. also all character at lv. 100, he was hard, and that stupid "death" ability, damn. i liked to torcher him, and draw a magic or two, to piss him off. it was all worth it.

It took me around 20 a 30 minutes… didn’t really time it, and it didn’t take that long either. o_o
lvl 100 characters.. and used 5 holy wars + meltdown and aura on zell and squall.. and 3rd party member to heal and attack.. depends… wonder how I beat it? xD

Damn, definitely the hardest monster I’ve ever fought XD . My party died several times before I managed to find a way to finish the thing off. I’m not sure on the time, but it surely was quite a long fight 😉 . Definitely a great challenge!!!

Well, Omega is really a hardest boss in FF8, it took me 15 min or so to kill him, use 2 holy wars, I use Squall, Zell, Rinoa. Squall with Renzokuken, Squall’s and Zell’s strength are at 255 , everyone’s HPs are yellow. Zell can do 60 hits in 12 seconds, >5000 each hits . Squall performs Lion Heart 2 times. So, that’s it

i dodnt know anout how to use Renzokuken then, ya know the square thing.

i used the same strategy but he died before two holy wars were used up…..they really shouldn’t of introduced those holy wars

didnt anyone die from terra break? the multi hit combo that hits you about 15 times?

I think its great when you first battle him and you think holy shit he’s big, but then you summon Eden and really he’s exccedingly small for the hardest boss in the game (well he’s small compaered to Eden) but the quickest i’ve beaten him is: 10 mins I always had Lionheart and I used Holy war at the right times and Junctioned magic correctly.

If you cast Shell on party and you have high Spirit, Omega’s Terra Break can kill……. 2 of 3 members. Hey Nirvana, I truly admire you when you beat Omega in 10 mins. Did you perform over 5 Lion Heart?

I hate that and Meddigo Flame, thjose are the worst ones to get used on you, they hurt you like hell……

Hey I got a cool challenge for Omega.

Ok heres the challenge. You Cannot use any items at all except for 1 hero( not holywar) and u can never use another item for the rest of the battle. You can not use invincible moon or Defend command. U cannot use any reviving magic. And now try to kill omega. Hehe its quite hard. If you can beat that, try entering the battle with 1 character dead, with the same rules. Its damn hard.

It is impossible unless you are a duel master…inwhich i am not……or you just get really, really lucky with squall…..i had that same challenge except you could only use magic but no aura and of course a one on one match

the thing is, i used him, i didnt know anything about Duel, i used Meteor Barret (the only on i hade that was good) and i still beat him, he is hard if you dont know how to use it but i liked the fight…
