Different versions??????

I was on a final fantasy website today, and I was looking at some screen shots, and I looked at one of the pics where your on the missipn, in Dollet, and Rinoa was there, well on my game Rino does not appear till after, and I saw another pic, and it the one where your fighting the boss (the on you get siren of off) on top of the comminications tower, and Rinoa was there!!
and on another pic it shows the FMV where your running away from that Robot thing (the bit where Quistis is firing at it) and the bit off the FMV where Selphie looks back at you, but the thing is on the picture I saw it was not Selphie looking back at Squall it was Rinoa, what I want to know is, is there 2 versions, on the pics I was looking at was the Japanise one! 😀

Ever thought of it that pic 2 and 3 you described might be fake?
And Seeing Rinoa in Dollet and that hard. Just go back to Dollet when you have her in the party. The 2 others are fake though.. me thinks… There’s no way you can fight on the communication tower after the first time…
Maybe there’s a code for the GS to alter that, dunno O_o
But me thinks… that those 2 last pics are fake. There ain’t no 2 or more different versions of FFVIII.

They aint fake i have seen them before.
they did that when they where making it and they werent sure which characters to use. i heared that before from some where before

yeah, you can find lots of mistakes like that in game ads, i’m pretty sure they just kind of generate screenshots by pasting different things from the game together, then just running that little segment to get a good picture, kind of like in movie ads when they will put together 2 pieces of dialogue that sound good together, but they’re actually at 2 different parts of the movie.

Either that or it’s from one of the early game demos or movies. They change a lot from the demos sometimes. I know that in a demo I played was in Dollet and Squall had Bahamut and Leviathan already…so there you go.

Prehaps it was from an early demo of the game?? i know when wwe get demos we get spell from mutch later in the game than u would have when the demo starts

I’ve seen those screenshots you’re talking about. They come from an early demo of the game, used in magazines and stuff in Japan and commercials long before the final version of the game was released. There aren’t two versions.
