Squall’s opinion of Laguna: "I dreamt I was a moron."

Kiros on laguna: "That rated a -3 on the manliness scale"

Seifer, on working together: "Listen up! Teamwork means staying out of my way!"

a nice little conversation between seifer and quistis:

Seifer: "I hate it when you wish me luck. Save it for the slow students who need it."
Quistis: "All right, then…Good luck, Seifer"
Seifer: "Add Professor Trepe to the list."

seifer on zell: "Chicken wuss"

seifer on zell and squall: "That’s just great, I have Chickenwuss and a guy who just reached puberty in my squad."

The most annoying quote Squall says is "Just leave me alone", I mean god does he ever not wan’t to be alone.

those two seifer hangers-on were annoying too, especially the one that says "ya know" after every sentence.

and yeah, squall was a big-time jerk throughout most of the game. i mean, the guy has two hot girls fighting over him and he doesn’t even care?!?

seifer was actually pretty funny though.

But I think you guys have already said all the good quotes I can think of. Only other ones I can come up with off the top of my head are…

"The name sounds cool!" -Laguna’s reaction to Ragnarok. In the Japanese version this was a pun (because of suffixes and the fact that "l" and "r" are the same, in Japanese both Laguna and Ragnarok are called something like "Lagunaloku." The fact that the pun couldn’t translate just seems to add to Laguna’s corniness.)

sorry if i offended you. that’s just one of my peeves, i guess. people that always say "you know" after everything…. you know? :p

Believe me, I know. I speak like Raijin in real life and my mom always says I should stop because it’s annoying. Then I played FFVIII and realized that it really is annoying. Now I’m self-concious whenever I speak. I don’t want to sound like Raijin, y’kn… ARGH!!! :rolleyes:

hehe. i used to talk like that all the time too, ya know? :p sometimes i still do it if i don’t really know what else to say, which happens more than i’d like to admit, to be honest. 😡
