I'm a bit of a noob here, but I couldn't find this soundtrack anywhere else, so I took it upon myself to record it. If you notice that I've missed a song, please notify me, and I shall record it promptly. MP3 = 320kbps at 48khz.

If you're questioning what they sound like, I've put everything on YouTube for your listening pleasure: London Life Soundtrack Playlist - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ye1FMpfyfhU&list=PL55A5CA9BEB206DF4&feature=plpp_play_all)

"Professor Layton's London Life"???? What is that?

It's the mini game included in Layton and the Spectre's call or Devil's Flute depending on what region you're in. In the US it's the Last Specter.

Also, thanks for the post Moldy!

You're quite welcome. The one thing that sucks about London Life is how they constantly advertise it as a "100+ hour RPG", but you've basically played the whole thing after the first day. It's just pretty much a million different fetch quests. Good music though.

WOAH THANKS! Good thing I didn't miss this! :D Back when the game came out I was going crazy looking for this.

Well I'm not exactly sure how something like this could have been pulled out because I thought these games used an audio codec that can't be ripped (or something like that), but any chance you could do the same for the other tracks not in the soundtracks? I think those would be just iris and The Last Time Travel's credits, JP and english versions both. I don't remember if the Last Specter's had any... maybe the credits as well, as its norm. Anyways, is this possible?

Sorry for the double post (I'll get these merged), but I realized I can't send PM's to the TC yet.
(Oh crap I can't delete my own posts, what a mess I made lol.)

For the picture Moldy, you need to upload it somewhere else, and then link to it using the img tags. For example, there's Photobucket, Imgshack, ptpimg.me. Actually, just check the urls to the other user's pictures for more. That should tell you what hosts they use. Then, you've got to do this

This is my picture

These are the img tags (without the spaces)

Put together like this

Voila, that's how it goes. And, thanks again for the rips. :)

Edit: And btw, if you haven't yet, you should link to this in the Thread 64743. Less people will miss this if it's there.

It's not technically a gamerip, but rather very good quality recordings done by someone who is very proficient with audio editing software, so really, what else could I have put it as? Unfortunately though, I only own Last Specter, and my computer's not good enough to record DS emulator music perfectly (lots of popping here and there.) Even though I'm a huge audiophile I'm still stuck with a 128kbps MP3 of Iris.

Thank you very much for the info, but isn't that page for the official soundtracks (CDs) only?

Nope, look up for "Mega Man" in the first page list, for example. They may not be the norm, but they pop out from time to time. They are allowed. But you might want to mention what you explained to me on how the rip was done. Thanks again btw!

Well thanks for the info kind sir. As for the recording, I have one of those cables that plugs into the headphone port of something on both ends, so I plug one end into my DS, and the other into the record port on my laptop. For console rips, I also have a special cable that plugs into the red and white cables for audio, and the other end is open for the headphone cable to plug into. Over the course of five years I've improved every aspect of the recording prospect. I never use to be an audiophile until the Beatles remasters came out, thus the quality of my recordings was rather sloppy, but now it's as perfect as can be, and unfortunately for me, that meant recording all of my game music over again (about 180 songs), but it was well worth it for the sake of quality. Now the only reason I mention all of this is just in case you ever decide to do the same.

xD You're overthinking things. Just post it akin to how you did here. But instead of download links, posts the link to this topic. No biggie.

Mediafire says the files are dead or invalid. Does anyone still have the files or can upload them? :(

I reuploaded MoldyPond's FLAC rip and added a cover for it too.

Enjoy!
