There was a fake released a while back that claimed to be the complete score but was actually a mixture of The Passion of the Christ and The Stoning of M. Soraya so be very cautious.

The Stoning of Soraya M - was that the one that was by John Frizzell? There was a score of his going around being labeled as the comlpete for The Passion. Or am I thinking of Shore's King Kong?

You're thinking of Shore's King King. There's a fake promo going around which is actually John Frizzell's Primeval score.

I heard about that complete score named "recording sessions", but there was 2 x 22 tracks, and here, on my tracks list, there is 33 tracks...it's not the same one...

It is another movie score by John Debney. Obviously for the movie "The Stoning of Soraya M.".
Since the tracklist you posted contains a track called "The Stoning" I assume this is another fake complete score.

I got, I vaguelly recall, somewhere be tween 26 and 31 minutes of Jack Lenz's rejected score, as housed on his old site years ago (no longer up).

So far, no tracks from Lisa Gerrard's rejected score -- to my knowledge -- have leaked.

No, it's not... The track list I posted few months ago (first post) contains 17 + 33 tracks, (so... 50 tracks) this is not the same version as this "fake 44 tracks" edition...

The person who posted that list on a blog said it was real... but honestly, I'm not sure anymore... ;)

The Jack Lenz's stuff was actually "additional music", not a rejected score.

I also see that, i am looking for Jack lenz's additional tracks long time ago, since they were available on his old site, i asked many people out there about that but sadly no help out.

No, Lenz was doing his own score for the film before Debney was hired, for at least a year. Some may be left in the film, I don't know; the CD release shows that some trakcs or part of some tracks may be by him, but that may be nothing more than the ethnic percussion he recorded, being used.

On Lenz's old site he posted about 26 minutes of score, and labled it rejected, too. I have that material saved,

Don't be fooled. BMI and ASCAP credits can be deceptive. Neither site makes no attempt to delineate between stock music, library music, existing pieces, classical music, adapting work other of thers, etc. You basically have to know that the name you are reading is some classical composer or that it's library music, to figure it out.

Just because you see two names paried together on either site, means nothing. It doesn't not mean both worked together.

Further more, neither site lists the full works of any respctive composer and also does not list full credits on any partucular title.


You search around that site for a while over the years, and you start noticing these things.
