This is my most favoritest score EVER!! I had the original lp as a girl. Searching for it as a cd to buy on-line is what lead me into the dark, seedy world of on-line sharing..... :b

The original archive I got from a Frankly friend. The 320 upgrade is from a member here, though I do not remember who, I want to say Sanico, or maybe Nikitos. So thanks to the original up loaders, for the music, and for initiating me into this world.....

EDIT: FLAC provided by Chief Dundee

That's cool. I owned this as a kid too. Cassette tape actually. I always assumed it was John Williams at the time. The 72 track "Recording Sessions" of this is awesome as well.

I have downloaded it in Flac once... Wasn't it from that site ?

Anyway, the recording sessions sound more natural to me. No mixing/mastering fuckwit... Actually, rather a gorgeous rendition. And yes I'm talking about the recording sessions in mp3. Oh well.

I have both. And yes, this edition IS available in FLAC somewhere on here. And now I know the difference...I **WANTS** it, my precious...

IDK. Chief Dundee's blog has The Inrada in FLAC, am grabbing it now. Do y'all think he'd mind a mirror posted in this thread??

I originally got it in lossless and converted it. :( Sorry. And I just checked where I got it from and the lossless links are dead.

Is this actually an Intrada release? I was under the impression Intrada had never done Young Sherlock Holmes, and I don't see it listed on their website.

If it is Intrada, I'd move heaven and earth to get a physical copy. This is one of my all-time favorite scores.

It is, and it isn't. It was released in very limited form by folks running Intrada, and he composer, I believe. Although it is not officially part of thier catalog. I think it was a very limited run...

From Soundtrackguide.net..:

Promotional 2 CD set which was already sold out before its initial release. Only available through the Intrada Shop it had highest demand once Intrada put news about this set on their web site. Those who ordered early could buy the YSH set for about 50 USD, once it was sold out prices rocketed up to 250 USD on the second market.

Hi Amanda, one my top favorite scores as well. Been hunting this one down for awhile now.
Is there any way you could re upload? Thank you!

I would second gracene's request, pretty please. I prefer the Intrada version over the sessions. Thank You.

Hmmmm... just found my two CD set of this. In flac. Don't listen to it much. Another example of more music is too much music when it comes to a soundtrack.

Phideas1, I appreciate your sharing the link to Young Sherlock Holmes score. Fabulous! I downloaded a great file converter (free software with no trial periods!) to convert the flac to mp3. Is easy and wonderful. Go to www.dvdvideosoft.com to get the free studio converter. Thanks again! You are the cat's meow!

I was also looking for the audiobook of the movie. I belief there was one in the 80th. True or wrong?
