If you are getting CRC errors.

I do notice that a lot of the files are named in a syntax that is not Windows compatible.
So this may cause extraction errors.

The latest version of WinRAR (that I'm using), automatically renames the files to Windows compliance.
Replacing all "illegal" characters with an underscore _
This makes it a proper Windows file.
The renaming does not affect quality or playback.

The soundtrack is great. I assume the link above is not functioning. There was also an audiobook of YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES in the 80s, where someone narrated the story. Does anyone know more?

I've just downloaded it, and those tracks are all there.

The problem you are having is because the track titles of all those tracks contain a "/". It is something that happens with some pc's.

I'm a Mac user, so I never remember how to resolve the issue.

Both track lists are selfmade i think, watching the movie and mixing with the titles on the original CD's.

What are you talking about? You can't release music on CD without mixing it to CD quality. It happens with all CDs. The promo CD was also mixed, but not from the original source, but from Bruce Broughton's own copy.

Thanks, now I have the ONLY GENUINE ORIGINAL VERSION of this great score to enjoy.
The new Intrada edition in a new mix from the multi-track tapes; this means new mix, new volume balances, new sound experience, new audio engineer work.
So the intrada legit cd sounds different from the original recording session we are sharing each other.
I'm interested only in listening to the original film version of a score, I hate multitrack remixes.
They could have used the original stereo tapes (it sounds great!) but they have decided to make a new mix. But I'm not interested in new mixes, I prefer these recording sessions...

Keep in mind that this version is missing the whole choral part of Waxing Elizabeth.

the recording session isn't necessarily the same mix as the FILM VERSION....so that attitude is a bit presumptious....

Recording Sessions always differ from the final scores as heared in movies.....in the recording sessions scores are unplugged and it a type of rough cut........but this is the most interesting for completists and film score enthusiasts :)

The sessions are full of inserts, alt cues and unused versions. It is NOT mixed to the final film levels. It is cool, but NOT the only original version. The full chorus for Waxing Elizabeth (I think) is present on the lp version of the score. Lemme know if ya have luck getting that flac...
