Does anybody know if there is a BC Rearmed 2 soundtrack coming out? I haven't seen anything anywhere. I do know that Simon Viklund did the soundtrack again and it sounds great. If anybody finds anything, please let me know!

Hope this doesn't end up in OST limbo. (http://www.simonviklund.com/#post34)

I get the feeling that we'll be stuck with rips only. On that note, anyone care to rip that sucker?

oh god, it's really impossible to find a rip even the next stages music? This soundtrack is really good, even do not understand how anybody has the patience of release. :(

I took a look at this game. It uses Wwise mixed OGG/PCM (no tracknames) but the ogg won't decode. Only thing stopping me completing this rip. :/

is possible that here in the forum there are people who can help you rip or extract the ogg vcm, I would like to know how. :(

Has anyone been able to rip this soundtrack yet? It's a real shame this still hasn't been made available.

I feel ya, man. Such a great soundtrack, too. We're gonna have to nag Capcom about it.

Any luck? Capcom doesn't want to let me buy it, and Simon Vicklund told me it's out of his hands. There's gotta be some way to get this!

Nope, I got stuck. After getting inside the Iso of the game, there is many .bundle files, from inside of which we get .bkh files, and thats where i can't progress anymore. Sorry.

Your best bet would be to approach the guys at VGM Legacy 2011 in their thread, but just make sure they are open for requests.

It's incomplete (though it has all of the level themes) and lazily tagged, but here you go:

Looks like we got something! Big thanks to discoalucard for this. Haven't checked it out yet so if you do let us know.

I tried to post this about a month ago but it kept telling me I had to wait for a mod to activate my post.

Digging this out of the grave because I got my hands on the source files and will release the entire thing soon-ish, as no one has yet to release this awesome soundtrack. Just need to play the game a bit to figure out where certain tracks are from and it'll be available to you guys within a week, hopefully!

Coincidence? Simon Viklund (http://simonviklund.com/#post60)

LOL That would be a HUGE one. I actually contacted him to try and get track names but no dice. I may throw some tracks up on youtube, since there's a handful of tracks that I don't even think are in the game but I may be wrong. Just hoping someone can help to figure it out. Also, what SHOULD I name most of these tracks? Nearly all the in-game bgm's play in more than one stage and only one track has an official name (which is on Viklund's site).

EDIT: Just wanted to give you guys a small snippet of what's to come, still in the process of putting it all together (literally). Check out this sample of the boss music (http://www.peejeshare.com/files/363266985/boss_(2).flac.html). Bear in mind that I won't be uploading it in FLAC (I'll be uploading in my usual v0 mp3) but just for us audiophiles, you can check out the spectrals for yourselves. I looped the "intro" of the track twice (which is a seperate file), as I feel it goes better than just playing one time and then 3 loops of the boss theme. It also makes it feel more game-ish, as the intro plays until you proceed past the text. Volume levels and all else are untouched.

Ok, finally finished putting everything together for my Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 soundtrack release! I'm planning on uploading it later tonight but I just wanted to ask for some quick input from some of you.

I had to pretty much improvise all the track names, so nothing is actually official (except for Flutes of Ektanadu). I can't just name them after stages because multiple stages use the same themes. I've uploaded everything to youtube (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL325BFE22008BF4BA&feature=view_all) so check out the track names and see if you guys think they're fine or if I should make any changes. You can also sample the quality and stuff, so you'll know it's legit. ;] I also threw in unused tracks that were buried in the game data for completion's sake.

Great work with this, jizames! I doubt that this soundtrack would have ever reached the light of day if not for you. One question, I see that you said that you weren't planning on uploading the score in FLAC, but is it completely out of the question? :) Regardless, thanks in advance!

Sadly, it is out of the question but mainly for 2 reasons. One being that my upload rate is pretty awful so it would probably take a long time to get the flac release up and two (being the main reason) is that the source files were a mix of little-endian wav files and ogg vorbis files. The little-endian wavs are lossless but as most people know, ogg vorbis (which the majority of the tracks were) are lossy so it's somewhat counter-productive to make flacs out of an already lossy format.

Wow. Just, wow. I don't see anything wrong with the track's names at all, they're in fact perfect! But hell, Jizames. You've made my month! First the Jojo HD gamerip and now this rarity! I'm a fan of yours now.
