A few notes:

First of all, this thread would not be possible without the hard work of AthrunZero, and all of the others who helped contribute to his thread. Since Arthrun has been inactive for over two years, it seems appropriate to give an update. At the moment, this list accounts for about 85% of all Gundam audio, and over 95% of the music.

None of these are my rips, although all of them are my uploads. They were acquired over a lengthy period of times from websites all over the planet, in a quest for the most complete collection possible, in the highest quality practical.

There are no plans at this time for me to support lossless formats. However, most of the uploads are either 320kbs, or VBR. Other posters who have lossless links are certainly free to post them if they wish.

I have also constructed a website (http://www.sybpress.com/Gundam/gundam_music_index.htm) that lists information on all Gundam audio released. This thread uses the same standard as the website as to what is or is not a Gundam album. Basically, it excludes albums in which Gundam is only an incidental presence. It also excludes music from the Super Robot series, for much the same reason. Again, if you wish to post such music here, feel free to do so.

I'm also trying to do a stereo mix recording on MSG: Zeonic Front on the ps2 emulator but I'm afraid some sfx and voices may get in the way since you can't turn down the voice and sfx volumes <:\.

Thank you for the input. Actually, your suggestions are part of the problem with trying to collect original Gundam music. The show came out before CDs, so the early albums were vinyl or cassette. In 1987 Star Child Records (later King Records) did the first CD releases, three of which had extra tracks. After that they also had CD reissues of the original LPs, and then again later as part of a massive Gundam box set. Mine are based on that box set, and use their catalog numbers... As do the albums you sent links for. What I'm still looking for are the Star Children editions (for the extra tracks.) Mind you all but one of those tracks can be found on the two total music collections (and that one might be there as well under another name.)
Then there's the problem of what Gundam OST 3 is. There is a TV OST 3 (2 disc drama record and what you have a link for), a third OST for Gundam the Motion Picture (also a 2 disc drama record,) and either of the three discs for Gundam III: Encounters in Space (1 OST and a 2 disc drama set.) It's a complete mess (perpetuated by the two completely Different Zeta Gundam OST Vol 1s,) and one of the reasons why I had to build a website to keep it all straight.
But by all means, you keep looking and I'll keep looking.

I'll be glad to help. That's about 40 albums, so it will take a while to upload that much stuff. Do you have an order of priority?

Given that they're your initial uploads of the Gundam Side Story, perhaps you can answer some questions I've had about them. I notice that each of the individual albums are virtually identical except for one or two tracks each. How did you choose which tracks went into which album?

Actually the Gundam Side Story rips for Saturn, Blue Destiny Volumes 1-3, are all part of the same game trilogy, so the tracks are virtually identical. X3 I simply matched what was in each .ssf rip with its track names by ear.

Okay, you've raised a lot of questions in a lot of threads that would be easier to answer here.
About the drama records: As stated above, none of these are my rips. Therefore I cannot re-rip anything. The Gaia Gear albums are only at 64kbs, and I felt that recompressing them after cutting them into bits would adversely affect sound quality. As for the Stardust Memory album, I have no track time information to work from as to where the breaks might be. That the second album has 22 tracks, when most sources say it has only four, makes the question of what a track even is on these albums very complex. I have found no detailed track info on the first album. An examination on audacity does indicate breaks in the sound, but these breaks would be arbitrary, I don't know where or if they correspond to actual track breaks.
As for Journey to Jaburo, 7 tracks is what I have. While I have no doubt that it has more music, until I actually have such a version, this is what I have. If you have a more extensive version, I'd love a copy.

Let me thank you again for your hard work on Gundam Musou 3. I noticed that you had Shin-ichiro Nakamura and company as composers for all the tracks, even the old Gundam ones. They were, artists on all of them, but composers on only the new stuff. I will have to check on all the individual titles for song covers, but those credits can get a little complicated as well.
The problem is that currently my database lists the artists who perform the songs, but if the game uses an instrumental version, you need the composer of the song rather than the artist. I don't have all of those yet. (Although generally, for the older stuff, it's the same person who wrote the instrumental music for the accompanying program.) I also started to find, but have not yet finished, all the composers for the earlier Gundam Musou titles.

I also finally had a chance to listen to Gundam Musou 3, and was surprised to hear that they were new, electronic versions of older Gundam music. Since some earlier games had sprung for the actual music, and it was going on a PS3 game, I didn't expect something that kinda like a midi file.

I have to agree, though I liked the song selection they just seemed to lack any power, any "oopmh" if you know what I mean.

The only tracks I could rip from Zeonic Front is the main menu and the mission menu, and the chapter call. But I can't rip the rest because Bandai didn't add any volume settings in the game, so, I think someone else is going to have to see if they can rip it <:[

I DO have them, though, some of these are in a much lower bitrate, 128 kbps...because I got them back when 1 terabyte was just a dream, and a 300 gigs was a lot of music. So I'm sorry about not having those in the bitrate you wish...but I DO have some of the stuff on your incomplete list!

Gundam 00 Awakening of the Trailblazer singles uploaded.
Also uploaded 30th Anniversary I, Senshi tribute, which includes a Gackt version of Ai, Senshi.

I have not yet been able to rip music from Zeonic Front. None of the admittedly limited techniques I have worked. I have accessed the .bin file and identified the existence of, (but nothing else,) of almost 40 bgm tracks. Separately, I was able to rip 4 or five videos, and separately, the audio that goes with them. But they are premixed, with dialogue, sfx and music combined.

Will keep looking, but don't know how long it will take.

I'm afraid you'll have to be a little more specific. If you don't see it on the list, I don't have it. In particular, if you don't see it on either the Game OST or Game Rip lists, I really don't have it. The exception is if it was put out on a different album. (And I don't really know much about individual games at all.)

Sorry, my bad for not referring to the list. Just an fyi, 30th GUNDAM PERFECT MISSION is not a game actually. It's something like a bonus video that came in with the Gundam OP/ED Collection Volume 1 -20th Century- and it has a specific theme song for it. Anyhow, sorry and thanks again.

This style was created by me and i use foobar2000 playlist because it's a very good playlist

Sure. You don't mind that I have my style that I use to store my albums? (Code number folder to Album name folder to audio files, 500x500 cover image, to Artwork folder if any.) I don't include playlists because I don't know what player the end user has. The outer code number folder makes it faster to pack for upload. (With the Galactica albums I have to keep looking up what the code number should be.)

All the albums including on his .txt list includes all serial numbers for each album (first press and re-prints)

sometimes his list is a good way to check re-print for some albums

You are missing the holy grail of Gundam game rips, Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise from the Ashes.

I have posted what I have. My list is what I've been able to find. It doesn't include Rise From the Ashes because a) I don't have it, b) I have seen no listing of anyone else having it, c) Given that there are over a hundred Gundam games, it is impractical to list all the game rips I don't have.

Of course, if you have a copy, I'd love to hear it.

I have found an album that I need help identifying.
SD Gundam G Generation Advance (GBA) (Thread 92717)
Obviously a game soundtrack, but I can't find any record for an official release. I haven't seen many game rips coming out of Japan, (we seem to rip them for them,) and it's only 4 tracks.
To make it tougher, the track titles aren't reading properly, so all I have for titles is gibberish.
Any assistance in either track titles or whether it's official or a rip would be appreciated.

CORRECTED: Now uploaded with corrected track data. Still looking for the composer.

Also, I've had a chance to listen to satilliteseeker's upload of Gundam! History Hit Song. Thank you again for the upgrade. I still have the same cut out at the end of track 5. Now the original song, (Our Whereabouts) ends pretty fast, but if this was a deliberate choice it seems a little odd. (The track length matches what I have, but this may be a matter of a fraction of a second.) Did you get this already in mp3, or is this a conversion from APE or flac? I'm not being unappreciative of your efforts, I'm trying to better understand what the issue is.

I have found torrent threads for Gundam Odyssey and the full version of Gundam World Dance Track. (Among others.) Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make torrents work for me.

Thank you so much for this project. That being said, I need help finding a couple of tracks.

The first is an extended version of "Fear of Fighting". It is heard often in Senjou no Kizuna (the P.O.D. arcade game) when you are selecting your mobile suit. It can be found at 0:30 in this video. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvU_VOrPqHE)
The second is the anime version of the track that plays most often in Federation VS Zeon when you are testing a Mobile Suit in the campaign. It also crops up here and there in Senjou no Kizuna. It can be found at 5:11 in this video. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38XbI5sHmOo)
For that matter, a full rip of Federation VS Zeon's soundtrack would be neat. It uses a different arrangement from the anime.

The Fear of Fighting track sounds like they took the regular version and just looped it to make it longer. (In other words, I'm not even sure it's a new recording.) Yes, the Federation Vs. Zeon is a new arrangement. Frankly, it sounds like an inferior one, stripped down to fewer instruments, (The track seems to be Gundam in Danger.)
I have a standing policy to grab any game rip that turns up, but I have not yet seen one for Federation Vs. Zeon. I've made my own attempts at rips, and failed miserably. Certainly, if I come across one, I'll put it up.

Well, mainly I was looking to get the Gundam Wing and SEED albums, and then just happened to notice that all four or five of the main Wing OSTs were down, and one or two of the SEED OSTs were down as well. SEED Destiny and 00, the other two I was after seemed to work alright. 'w'

First I assume you mean a score track (no lyrics,) as opposed to a song (lyrics.) Unfortunately, I am not that familiar with Wing. I saw a few episodes and it came across as a remake of original Gundam with Amuro replaced by a boy band.
However, there is a huge pile of music for Wing released, so there is a good chance that the track you want is on one of the OSTs. Most of the links are down right now, but they are on my to do list.

I've done some poking about. If this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBDtNsN6ugI) is the actual English language opening, and not some fan creation, it sounds like the opening of track 1 of the Zeta Gundam Symphonic suite. I haven't found the ending, but it would likely be from the same album. Other than that, I'd try the Zeta Gundam Special. You'd certainly find the themes, if not the actual arrangement.

Any info on Gundam Age OST/singles releases?

It appears the ending theme will be released as a single (in two versions) on November 9th. The opening is due in regular and special editions on December 12th. I have no information about an OST.

They wouldn't be here until I find a source for it, which could be soon or later than the release date.
Typically, very recent albums make it to the shrine on their own before I find them. There are a number of people motivated to find and post it on their own.

Or to put it another way, they'll turn up when they turn up.

Sure.
It's either original music, or more likely, music from the series. Since I have all the music from the series, I could (eventually, I'm kinda busy these days,) match up the game tracks with the series tracks.
On the other hand, if you know which scenes in the game the music goes with, you could name the tracks after the levels.
As a question, do the tracks have fade outs? Do they loop into fade outs? Do they just cut out? Are they orchestral, or electronic?
As a completist, the answers don't really matter, but it could effect how much other people will groove on it.

Some tracks are orchestral (Those are in my opinion the best) some are electronic, I think ALL tracks are original

Some tracks are orchestral (Those are in my opinion the best) some are electronic, I think ALL tracks are original

I'm apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I am still going over the music. I wanted to make sure they got the attention the deserve.

I've had a chance to some digging on the Z Gundam game score you so nicely sent me, and I have some observations.
1. The score seems to be original, but deliberately designed to sound like the series.
2. I can only say this with 95% certainty, but I believe the 2 disc Playstation game and the 2 Sega Saturn games are unrelated. The screenshots I've found don't look remotely the same. The interfaces and game score graphics are composed completely differently. Also, if there was originally a Kamile disc and a Char disc, why do both of the Saturn ones have only Kamille and Four on the cover? The subtitles on the game covers are different as well, and neither mentions Char.
3. There are some duplication of tracks, for instance the first track of Disc 1 is the same as the third track of Disc 2. In fact, all of the tracks on Disc 1 repeat exactly on Disc 2, except for tracks 8, 10 (Char narration,) and 11.
Overall, good first attempt. Thank you for your hard work.
