try to use tinypic.com to host images

seems imageshack has been problematic in the last 3 days

I haven't noticed any problems with this on my computer, or with a separate computer not associated with me. I would have to move over a hundred images, and reupload the links. I am disinclined to do so unless there it was something a little more catastrophic.

I always use imageshack as well with no problems.

no problem about using imageshack

but in the last 3 days, the service has been unstable

in this thread for example, i am unable to see the cover

so, while the service is unstable, i recommend to use tinypic for your new uploads

For simplicity, my images are preuploaded. I just wait until the actual album goes up, and then add the link I already have waiting for it.
When I first started setting up pages a year ago, I did my best to evaluate the different hosting services available. Tinypic did not impress me, particularly because of their bandwidth limitations. I'm not going to spring for an account, so I need something that will not run out by the end of the month.
I have been unable to replicate your problem, so I don't know what it is, or if it will be permanent. If you need to see the cover, you can click on the info link, which will take you to a web page not using image shack, which, while smaller, can give you an idea what the album looks like. If and when image shack stability issues become permanent, I will consider changing hosts.
