Both actually.

Heroes of Mana has a lot of it, especially the end theme.

Most people remark about Masashi Hamauzu's use of violin being particularly good. If you haven't already, maybe check out UNLIMITED: SaGa.

The ones lower on the list use the violin more as a supporting instrument.

You will love this soundtrack. Everyone should listen to it!
