i'm a big fan of pixar soundtracks (among many others) and when i found out that they had exclusive cds that were unavailable to the general public, containing almost all of the score, i really wanted them. they are very hard to find though, and this is all that ive been able to locate as of yet.

they arent uploaded by me, so props to the original uploaders. i just stuck them in their own thread to make it easy to find.
if anyone else has others, please share! especially in higher mp3 and flac!

i've been looking for cast and crew cds forever, and this is the best i was able to find. if anyone else has any of them in better quality i would be most appreciative (especially if they have them in lossless, i want them in lossless really bad).

The Monsters Inc mentioned above is a FYC (For Your Consideration) CD. It is complete but it is not Cast and Crew (there is no C&C for Monsters Inc, there is no need as the FYC is complete)

Cars also had a FYC. I need to check if it is complete. Again I don't think there is a C&C for Cars but I may be wrong
Atlantis FYC is also excellent and contains more music than the orignal release

there wasnt any cover art with that, meet the robinsons, and the incredibles. ive added alternatives that look a little different than the normal soundtrack (for keeping it straight in my library) but arent the real cast and crew covers. if there is anyone that has those, i'd love a scan.

thats what i was afraid of...

so i would assume that finding nemo doesnt have any cover art either, as the rest of hte scans were there.

ive put links to alternate versions of the covers, for people that want to keep the original soundtrack and the cast and crew soundtrack visually separate. they arent the 'real' ones, but they will look different in your library, and much better than the 'missing art' icon.

not 100%. its a recent pixar, and they have tended to have cast and crew cds for their recent releases. but i dont really know which movies had cast and crew cds.

The Cast/Crew discs didn't exist around the time of the first two films. And we're struggling to find the 3rd's in any quality let alone FLAC at the moment :/

I've seen the one on the Pixar Blog. Ive already asked him if he would rip it for me, and he said no. :( I too am a big fan of Film Scores (Mainly Randy Newman, and MArc Mancina). I just wish Movie Companys would release the full score on their OST CDS.

Oh, man- I've been wishing for that Toy Story 2 FOREVER!!! At least we know it exists...

Its a crying shame that they never released none of these gems to the public. They could have released some kind of special or collector's edition or something. It they had really thought about it they could have really made a bundle of money if they had officially released this stuff to the public....Oh well, we just have to hope maybe at some point and time they will leak.

The masses DON'T care about orchestral and DO just want happy songs. Speaking as a score fan, I have learned to accept that the business of music publishing (and they're aren't doing this as a charity,) is what the masses want and not what a comparatively fringe market wants. Even 'successful' score albums generally sell a fraction of their song equivalents. And two discs? I'd love to hear it, but I am not the market and there will never be enough of me to justify a large release.

No it doent contain everything from the film the FYC CD is 54 minutes and 27 tracks, this is 1 and 30 minutes with 48 tracks featuring content that to this day still hasn't been released in any other format.
I'd recomend downloading, esspecialy to hear some rare ques, including the miriachi band music at hoppers hideout!

i'm a big fan of pixar soundtracks (among many others) and when i found out that they had exclusive cds that were unavailable to the general public, containing almost all of the score, i really wanted them. they are very hard to find though, and this is all that ive been able to locate as of yet.

they arent uploaded by me, so props to the original uploaders. i just stuck them in their own thread to make it easy to find.

if anyone else has others, please share! especially in higher mp3 and flac!

i've been looking for cast and crew cds forever, and this is the best i was able to find. if anyone else has any of them in better quality i would be most appreciative (especially if they have them in lossless, i want them in lossless really bad).

I found a track online from Toy Story 2 thats not included in the CD. Its just the drums that play in the background when Utility Belt Buzz Lightyear thinks the real Buzz is trying to escape Al's Toy Barn. If anybody wants it, I'll be more than happy to upload it. Its only a 128kbps mp3 though.

which is terriblly unfortunate. all they need to do is make a flac copy available with a nice scan of the cover for like $5. almost no cost of materiels/manpower, and they would sell decently. assuming disney still owns the rights (which i cant see them selling), it should be no problem.

Not a chance. ANd, since Pixar and Disney are joined, there will be no official release of an expanded score. Count on that. Disney just does not often re-do that stuff. Only hope is to wait and see if the promo leaks. And remember, just cause it claims to be a thing, does not mean it is....

But the seller sold also "THE DARK KNIGHT - Zimmer & Newton Howard 59 tracks RARE" ~$12 or "SECRETARIAT - Nick Glennie-Smith 31 tracks - RARE" for over $340 .. maybe it's real lossless?

I had a 320 version as well. Turned out it was transcoded from the 128. I'm not saying you couldn't have had a legit 320 version...just saying there was definitely a fake floating around. :)

that looks like the FYC, rather than Cast and Crew, but in any case, i would be very happy to have a copy. i did find a copy of hte cast/crew soundtrack for sale on the internet a while ago, something like $120. its in a cardboard sleive that looks like a LP case. pretty plain, but nice looking. probably almost identical tracks to this.

The most significant unreleased cue from the Toy Story 2 score for me was the music from the conveyor belt sequence. I wonder if it could be "Out Of The Box" from the C&C. Either way, I'd love to have a copy of the FYC too. :)

Atlantis FYC is also excellent and contains more music than the orignal release

Whoa, man! Don't give anything away about the film please!! :) It ain't come out here yet! I'm hopefully gonna see it the first week it's out! But OSTs generally don't ever seem to release anything NEAR the complete score to a film. The tracks of score are nearly ALWAYS either cut, spliced, and/or compiled... I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!! (to see the film, that is!)

I just do not get why Intrada would even want to release an album that is the same as a commercially still available one. Unless Disney is putting the original "into the vault". Blech. So hopes for more interesting sets of Disney related films, Like the Pirates scores, are waning already....

I admit, I'm fascinated to find out what this remastered expanded fan favorite is that's coming up. Considering this IS the Disney company, it could be damn near anything.

I have a small hunch it may be one of the following, and I would pretty much die if it were any of them:
The Fox And The Hound (Has never had a soundtrack release)
Robin Hood (Also has never had a soundtrack release)
Bedknobs And Broomsticks (It's CD was simply a CD transfer of the original LP masters, meaning shorter songs, no underscore, not in the proper order, etc.)
Pete's Dragon (Same as Bedknobs, except the CD is even shorter as they removed the single version of "Candle On The Water.")

I think it's very cool that it's been posted, especially in FLAC. Personally, I prefer the C&C. (You know me, I like complete scores, ha ha!) But thanks for the heads-up.

The good thing with the C&C is, you can always make a 49-minute playlist like the official album minus the three sfx tracks.

Look, guys, I would love to third a request for Toy Story 2 Cast & Crew Score (I can't possibly tell you how badly I want to see if "Pizza Planet Rocks" is what I think it is), but I afraid that it's beyond our and their control. Unless someone has a copy they'd be willing to share, we just have to sit and hope for the best.

I kinda prefer to have that stuff either left out, or put into longer suites, ya know?

The amount of people in this thread expecting people to just pay out $200 on eBay, and then upload in FLAC for nothing, is comical... if say 10 people REALLY wanted the Toy Story 2 C&C album, split the cost between you and upload. Simple enough.

i agree. ~15 sec tracks on osts always annoy me. not enough time to get into the feeling of the track. but on the other hand, i dont like 6-7 minute tracks that are 2-3 cues tacked together, with silence inbetween and everything (*cough* halo osts *cough*). 2-3 min cues are a good minimum size

Thanks benuit. I hadn't realised he'd used anyone else's file. He certainly should have quoted "thanks to the original uploader" or at least "not my rip".

Where would you look for a Cars 2 C&C? Does anyone know if everything on the OST will be on the C&C? Or will some of the songs not be on the C&C? If everything from the OST will be on the C&C, then I might wait till it turns up...
