I posted separate threads for the first 3, but I plan on adding more rips, so that's why I decided to make my own thread summarizing them all.

In most cases the soundtracks contain every song used in-game+ost and all looped twice and a 10 seconds fade out and SFX FREE unless I had trouble achieving that.

Because the amount of soundtracks offered was getting bigger, I put everything in a single Mediafire folder
Mediafire directory structure (http://www.mediafire.com/?if8g3860wom8k)

first of all, thanks a lot for your SMG1&2 rips.. and especially for your Blue Dragon gamerip. as far as I know by looking all over the shrine, it's the only one around. plus, for some nonsensical reason, the only people besides you that could do it (VGM Legacy) won't do japanese composers -__- (by the way, your idea of creating multiple folders is great, and much appreciated.. I can't stand FLAC even if it's higher quality because it weighs too damn much so it's irritating when it's the only one available XD)
so you're probably my only hope (I've been asking this request for years now).
may I ask you to do a complete Lost Odyssey game rip?
oh, and since you also do gamecube rips and the only one around is incomplete, could you also consider doing a gamerip of Mario Golf Toadstool Tour?

Thx, When I ripped the songs from Blue Dragon I noticed many tracks were absent on the OST, especially with the few tracks that have an English and Japanese version. Also the OST order was a bit non-sensical.

As for your requests, I don't own Mario Golf Toadstool Tour and Lost Odyssey. I still plan on buying Lost Odyssey, but I don't think I can find Mario Golf Toadstool Tour in the shops here anymore.

I updated the list with the next rips:
Banjo Kazooie: usf-rip, but also with the beta tracks Grant Kirkhope placed on his website and tracks from the OST

Big Brain Academy for Wii (for Europe)/Big Brain Academy Wii Degree (for US): complete rip using my hex editing the brsar to remove SFX> Sadly, one song was unrippable without SFX and I used gecko codes to freeze the game to play the last 5 seconds and last 10 seconds version of the brain quiz songs.

Oddworld Munch's Oddysee: I think it has never been ripped. Many tracks are ambient tracks with minutes of silence in it.
I used derof to extract the files from the oddio.rof file on the disc and reverse engineered the compression used (it was basic Zlib) to get sgt+dls files. I then opened the sgt+dls files with DirectMusic Producer and recorded with stereo mix.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl: sorted them by stage and also included the tracks most rips miss(subspace emissary cutscenes with music and the final smash/item songs). These songs are in the other.rar file.

I have a small (ish) request about Mario Kart Wii. Is it possible to rip the Wi-Fi themes, like when you're on your friend roster, in a room, searching online on worldwide or continental/regional, etc (all of which are I think the same tune but with different parts added, much like how the main menu theme has extra layers added)? Somehow this isn't in the ISO, because it's sequenced (that's the only logical explanation at least). Naturally, without SFX of course :P

these are indeed sequenced since they're also used in the mario kart channel. I did rip all the sequenced songs from the mario kart channel. I haven't finished the mario kart wii soundtrack, so that's why I have not released it yet. I can post the Mario Kart Channel tracks or you can find me on DC++ for the FLAC's.

So, after spending literally over an hour on DC++ doing nothing but TRYING to do the god damn complicated task of port forwarding... (it would help if the freaking guides weren't so GOD DAMNED out-dated... newsflash, it's 2011, NOT 2007 idiots!)
Therefore, I can say that DC++ is a no go for me. So, could you post the tracks? Also any other tracks that aren't streamed? Things like the actual Mario Kart Channel intro, Mario Kart Wii intro (i.e the Disc Channel), the "local" Menu themes, title screen, ending themes, mega mushroom theme, and menu themes I've already heard. As well as the BRSTMs, I have ending_normal.DSP, Mario Kart Wii Channel.bns, Mario Kart Wii.bns, 5 files that start with revo_kart and have a rwav extension, as well as title.dsp, W_BGM_FINALLAP_FAN.rwav and W_BGM_TITLE.rwav, so anything that isn't any of those would be awesome :P

You've got some excellent gamerips here! I've already downloaded parts from Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, and both of the Conker soundtracks. I know you've done a lot of hard work as you did an excellent job with the Mario Galaxy scores and Luigi's Mansion.

However, with all the tracks (maybe not all, but definitely most) from the N64 version of Conker's Bad Fur Day, the track starts then pauses, then starts playing. It is rather irritating and kind of makes the whole album un-listenable. I'm not sure if they were ripped this way, or that maybe it was a flaw in uploading, but it is something that I would appreciate being looked into. Thanks, again!

EDIT: Also, I must point out that the tracks I was looking forward to the most on Conker: Live & Reloaded are absent. I know you stated that no music is missing, so you may have just forgotten these tracks when you uploaded the music. MP3_1.rar here ends with track number 78, and MP3_2.rar starts with 90. There are quite a few tracks missing there--most notably the various parts to Sloprano. I hope you can all the missing tracks uploaded.

Aw I just noticed they were missing because the conversion to mp3 failed for sloprano's tracks being tracks consisting of 6 channels and I missed converting them to 2-channel files(the big problem of batch processing). They only contain the game rip version of sloprano which consists of 10 songs. I'll fix them ASAP

As for Conker's Bad Fur Day: it's ripped from the USF which has this problem of a small pause at the start. The USF set of Conker's Bad Fur Day was unfinished. It missed songs(Pub music, Uga Buga Land and The Elevator Music), but I did find ways of getting these songs in the set to complete it. I'll add it to the remarks. Only solution I could think of as now is live with it or edit all tracks manually with either a fade in or time warp. I might replace some of the songs with OST versions as I did with the Banjo Kazooie set.

What exactly is USF? And about the clicks, I don't think a fade in would help, and I don't really know what a time warp is. What I would have assumed you would recommend is import all the tracks into Audacity and delete the clicks from there. You don't use Audacity to process and export all of your files?

Oh, and I cannot forget to say: thanks for fixing the missing tracks!

Ummm...I am kind of confused on how to download some of the soundtracks. For example, I really want the Wario World rip you have but whenever I click the link it leads me to an undisplayable webpage. Could you perhaps just upload it to a normal download site. I have been looking for that rip for 2 years now but I have never found a working link. Thanks!

edit: I can't use the DC++ thing either so could you upload link with FLAC? Thanks!

I think the problem with the Wario World rip is that the url the link goes to is "http://wario%20world%20%28gcn%29/," which isn't an actual website... I think... at least, going by how every other link goes to Media Fire, anyway...

I fixed the link now (http://www.mediafire.com/?ddvzp3hk3ncnr)

And I only put FLAC's online if people ask for a specific set, since most of the time they're not downloaded once and not worth the trouble uploading them.

Hi, I would like to point out a missing song in the Diddy Kong Racing set that was not known about until recently.

YouTube - Diddy Kong Racing-Beta and Unused Character Select Theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNN71RFXOy4) It is thought to have been a beta character select track for Taj. The code and how he found it are in a link in the video description. The secret tune music was also recently confirmed to have been the beta music for Crescent Island.

I just thought you would like to know so you can have the most complete rip possible.

Great collection. I'll have to keep an eye on your works.

slippyToad
03-04-2011, 11:16 PM
wow, so many requests. I have many half-done soundracks. Sometimes I can be found on DC++ where I have a lot of unfinished or not fully checked soundtracks in FLAC format. One of them is a rip of Metroid Prime Trilogy, which covers all Metroid Prime 2 and 3 tracks(though I removed duplicates in that set). But I thought someone did a remastering of Metroid Prime 1 and 2 on this site.
For Metroid Prime Trilogy I haven't checked for mistakes I made in the set.

I don't own Pokmon Channel nor Epic Mickey, so I was not planning doing these soon.

I have a half-done DK Jungle Beat soundtrack. Never bothered to do the one for Pikmin 2, because many people were already bothered to do one(plus there's an option to disable sounds, so no need to change files on the disc). Both songs are a rippers nightmare because the music is very dynamic.

E-Reader: only the basic tracks though
Every Extend Extra Extreme (E4): the game has about 500 individual sounds and I concatenated all sounds belonging to a specific song, so only 9 songs were created

Excitebike 64: also covers the NES-game tracks
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: also covers the OST tracks of the game intro and game outro
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition
Metroid Prime Trilogy

reporting a problem in Luigi's Mansion rip. track number 13, "End of Training", lasts 0 seconds. it doesn't say it's broken, it plays normally.. only, there's no sound at all. and I saw some rips of it from youtube, and voice clips aside, it lasts around 30 seconds, so I'm sure it's not THAT short. reporting a problem in Luigi's Mansion rip. track number 13, "End of Training", lasts 0 seconds. it doesn't say it's broken, it plays normally.. only, there's no sound at all. and I saw some rips of it from youtube, and voice clips aside, it lasts around 30 seconds, so I'm sure it's not THAT short. XDtrack number 13 really is a small fanfare of less than 1 second. I also think that since I did not add a silence at the start of the track that the cross-fade of your music player mutes it. I think the voice clips you heard are track 14 which plays right after track 13. Can't remember why I split these in 2 tracks though

I played said track in more than one player, and it still gives silence..
but you said something interesting. 13 & 14 were part of the same track? so what, if you join them you get the "complete" tune?
if so, would you please do a joining of them? I'd do it, but I'm pretty sure I'd mess up with the audio quality. alternatively, you could tell me how to do it without lowering the quality, please?

if you load a mp3 and save as mp3 then no matter how, it will lose information. Any audio editor like audacity or goldwave can save it in a lossless type like flac or wav and then you can edit it as much as you like.

Anyway I uploaded these:
Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

You're either not looking well enough for them or consider the real game ripped tracks inferior. The game really plays the music on a measly 22.05 khz.

I'm currently uploading it. It will be available at this

Hey, slippytoad, the track numbering of Metroid Prime Trilogy skips jumps from 96 to 98. Is 97 actually missing or is everything just misnumbered?
When tagging Metroid Prime Trilogy I had to remove a few duplicate tracks, since some of the Metroid Prime games use the same track from a predecessor, while in other cases it sounds the same, but the track is slightly different. Track 97 was entirely the same as track 47, Phazon Area(though in the original Metroid Prime 2 Phazon Area was not used at all!). Apparently I missed fixing the numbering.

What's missing from the official soundtrack? Just standalone tracks for the alternate layers for Dire, Dire, Docks (underwater with the strings, and then one for one in the underground cave with the strings and percussion), as well as a separate track for the alternate layer in Hazy Maze Cave (when you're in the toxic maze)? I can't think of anything else...

I played the demo before. I can rip it, but not tag it, unless it's really the single track I heard in the demo playing. I should still check the files on the disc to see if they are not in some custom file format.

That's ok, don't worry.

When I have to tag music (from an untagged collection I've downloaded, for example), and I dunno what it exactly is, I try to find some tracks of that game on YouTube, and when I remember a piece of music from the song I need to tag, I'd just tag like it's named in the video (not literally, of course).

At first thank you for all your efforts! Those complete rips you did surely took a lot of time.

There's still one game I couldn't find a clean rip of: "Mario Golf: Toadstool Tool" I really like the music of the game. Erm... are you taking requests? If you are, would you be able to give Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures for Gamecube (and PC, PS2, and Xbox) a try? The score sounds like it's done by Patrick Caird, who did the music for the actual cartoon (and if it's not done by him, it sounds incredibly close- same style and instruments)...

If not, disregard this, and thank you for the other soundtracks you've recorded and uploaded! Very happy with the Super Mario 64 soundtrack.

^Unfortunately, that's unavoidable. That's exactly how they are in the original USF rip. The same with DK64. There's literally NO way of "adding" something that doesn't exist, if that makes sense. Sure you can delete a bit of audio, but you can't just create it out of thin-air. The only thing, is for the lazy bastards to update the USF rip itself. What exactly was fixed/changed? Are the synching issues on those stream/stream/sequence tracks fixed? There were four such tracks: it was very noticeable on Bowser Rolling, Bowser Burned Tail, and To the Gateway (Chasing Bunnies). It was also an issue on "Inside the Dome (rotating the map)" but that track is more ambient than melodic so it's not as easy to notice there. I'd just dl it to find out but my net connection is not super-fast. Don't wanna wait for it to finish just to find out it wasn't the fix I thought it was.

because these tracks were reused in SMG2. And because people would complain it's incomplete otherwise. Also I only added OST versions of the track, because they're arranged to play all versions one by one.

I was starting to listen to my old "Animal Crossing: Wild World (DS)" Tracks and I noticed the Difference! How many other Tracks from ACWW did you cheat us on?

ACWW is for 90% from the 2SF-rip. Only the songs missing in the 2SF-rip(TV-tunes miss voices) and the song variations of the hourly tunes(the 2SF-rip plays them all mashed together). Wasn't bothered with it, since to me they're the same song in both games. Most other rips of ACWW was either just the OST or just the 2SF-rip.

"1, what do you mean? Do you mean the Wii version of Super Mario All-Stars with the bonus soundtrack CD? That game doesn't have SMW tracks."

no. the SNES version of Super Mario World, not All Stars.

If you have every console, i have a TON of requests! I'm working on a list & then I'll start requesting one by one.

When you said "Can you post the track list for Super Mario World & All Stars Anniversary in the correct track order in which they appear in the rips?", particularly the "anniversary" part, that's what made us think you were talking about the 25th anniversary disc, especially as you said Super Mario World AND All Stars Anniversary.

Oh, if possible, I'd like my requests filled with lossless. If not, MP3 will work. Thanks for SMW. I know I said I'd request one at a time. But I'm really sorely tempted to request more right now this time. Is it a matter of ripping the games then posting or are all the games you have already ripped or downloaded from somewhere? The reason I said I'd request one at a time is because I thought you had to rip them. But if it's just a matter of posting it up which don't get me wrong cuz that takes time too, just not as much time as ripping it first. Ah, I'll go by you. If you'll allow me to request more than one, I'll do so. If not, one at a time it is.

@Ultimate Koopa: Yeah. I realized after he asked. Sorry about that. I thought the Anniversary was the complete scores of SMW & All Stars from the SNES version of the games.

That's really what I wanted to know all along. By having a track list in front of me, I'd know if it's complete or if something's missing. Plus, I'll know the order in which they appear so I'll know if it's re-arranged like the official OST's are or not.

Hey, slippyToad? A fellow member, who I believe is called furry bob, has found an even better way of ripping Super Mario Sunshine music without sound effects.
The pros of this, compared to your rip, is that they are actually directly from the disc, so, you get the song in full. Furry bob is currently camping some where, and doesn't have access to the internet, but he's uploaded temporary FLACs of every song in the game, except one, which is the one that plays in the demo. They aren't tagged, or timed properly, and don't fade out, but if you want to see how they compare to your rip:

I don't know how he worked, but I noticed a few things

the songs are 48khz, I think most Nintendo games play their music in 32khz. So I think it's still a line in recording. So it's not entirely directly from the disc. Could be he recorded with a modded gamecube and using the digital output.
his rip doesn't cover the variations for yoshi, or the sped up version of the Wiggler battle. Not to mention the title screen track without Mario's voice.
it doesn't have the start beep playing in the race track and the red coin challenge track.
the track bgm_bosspaku_demo is unused. Could be beta. It's weird, but the super mario sunshine demo already had the cutscene used for Petey Piranha.
Seems I missed Pianta Village variations and the pianta village band song has an intro you normally can't hear.

He has got the Yoshi variations, actually, AND the sped up Wiggler variation. It's called BGM_BOSSHANA_2DN3RD I think. Also, these are sequenced files, from the disc. NOT in-line recording. They are 48000 Hz FLAC files, because he obviously converted them to 48000 Hz FLAC files. The original files were probably 32000 Hz.

He doesn't have the Yoshi Variations or the third phase Wiggler theme. Give me proof he has the Yoshi variations.

The Ultimate Koopa
07-17-2011, 02:23 PM
He has them, but he hasn't uploaded them, I mean.
Although I may have sort of misread his post which said "Super Mario Sunshine is ripped except for the Yoshi tracks. Now I just need to process them."

His original post, when he found out how to rip SMS music was: "I just found out how to mute all sound effects in Super Mario Sunshine without editing the sound banks at all. This might lead to a proper rip of SMS."
How he got the intro to the Pianta Village Band, for example, and how he got the full intros to all the songs, is through hacking. I believe he also made a code for SMS and Luigi's Mansion to remove SFX.

As for the 3rd wiggler variation, the filename of "BGM_BOSSHANA_2DN3RD" would suggest that this is for both the 2nd AND 3rd variations. I'll have to ask him if he actually got the Yoshi variations, actually, when he gets back on Wednesday. And yes, I too was unaware that the night episodes had a slightly different variation to those in the day. I was also unaware that there was a slightly different variation for the Pianta Village Band when they were near the hot spring (near the Pianta Statue) -- "ONSEN" translates from Japanese to English, as literally "Hot Spring", so I'm just going by that assumption. Also, if they WEREN'T from the disc itself, then why would he make up weird filenames like "BGM_BOSS" or "BGM_SHILENA" or "BGM_MONTE_ONSEN"?

If and when he's able to get the Yoshi variations, in full -- maybe even separately, as in, the "Yoshi Drums" without the actual music -- we'll truly have a full Super Mario Sunshine soundtrack. The only pieces of music that'd be missing would be cutscenes, but it's impossible to get rid of the voices, since unlike the sound effects, which are obviously separate, the dialogue is part of the audio.

smithuser
07-17-2011, 02:48 PM
I think the dialogue/SFX in the movies are actually part of the song, so let me know when he gets the Yoshi themes and I'll convert them to MP3.

The Ultimate Koopa
07-17-2011, 03:58 PM
Actually, the FLACs in that list are temporary, hence why he put it in his "temporarycrap" directory. He's going to properly tag them, AND also time them correctly. They'll also be in FLACs, but I can also convert them to MP3 as well, so you don't need to. But if you want to, please, whatever you do, make sure they are no lower than 320 kbps -- being in the year 2011, we SHOULD be able to cope with 320 kbps now.

Wait, he did those as well? Also, said person should be returning from some camping trip he was on for the past 8 days or so... I should be able to ask him if he's able to seperate those, and also, while I'm at it, I'll ask about the Yoshi variations of the Super Mario Sunshine.
But then again, note the folder entitled "temporarycrap" -- and also, he's going to actually time them, and tag them properly, most likely he's just uploaded the full versions temporarily, and he'll actually seperate them when later.

Hey, The Ultimate Koopa, can you add a Fanfare to the "New Super Mario Bros." Upload? The One I'm referring to is in VS. Mode and plays when Mario / Luigi Enters the Course. The one I have has the Warp Pipe SFX that I don't know how to get rid of. Oh! And thanks for Uploading the "New Super Mario Bros." Music as well!

The Ultimate Koopa

I'm a little confused... firstly, when you say "I don't know if he did that, but there is a gamerip of that", who did what? And there's a gamerip of what?
Secondly, what do you mean by "Where else do you think brawlcustommusic got those songs"? Furry bob, who's a member of these forums, got the songs straight from the disc, at least I'm pretty sure that's what he said. It's the same person who did the Super Mario Sunshine tracks. He's the owner of brawlcustommusic -- no one else can upload anything to the temporarycrap folder, it's like a personal folder that he puts his WIPs and miscellaneous stuff.

---------- Post added at 12:55 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:54 AM ----------

slippyToad used the mini2SF rip, which SHOULD have every theme in the game, so the fanfare should be there... it might be named differenntly.

smithuser
07-22-2011, 11:54 AM
What I mean is because they're sequenced, and the only other non-crappy rip is by slippyToad. And for NSMB, the Mario VS Luigi fanfare is not in there (IE it's an SFX), and it is also based on a Mario Bros. sound effect. And the World 8 map theme before the second part is unlocked doesn't sound like what it sounds like in the game. 0_0

EDIT: I was unaware that Luigi's Whistling (When entering an already light room)/humming theme (Which usually plays with the normal mansion theme), and Warp (When you analyze a mirror and get sent back to the Foyer) were actual songs before I found out about Furry bob's rip, and I wasn't sure around slippyToad's rip they were songs.

OMG ANOTHER EDIT: I tagged them by listening to them. The ones I don't think I remember hearing in the game - I tagged them Unknown.

The Ultimate Koopa
07-22-2011, 01:38 PM
The entire NSMB rip, as I said, was from the mini2SF files. The 1st World 8 theme was taken from the 2SF file, which normally contains the full (2nd) version, however, hex editing was used to mute the certain channels. Perhaps he muted something he shouldn't have, or forgot something he should have muted? How exactly doesn't it sound like it does in the game? As in, what's different?

Sorry... I wasn't sure if the fanfare was a Music Track or a SFX... I do admit I have the NES Version of the Mario Bros. Fanfare. I also, however, noticed the is a difference between the Fanfare in Mario Bros. (NES) and the Fanfare in New Super Mario Bros. (DS). My apologies, for I didn't mean to start an argument. I just needed a link that had the Fanfare without the Warp Pipe SFX.

Oh! I almost forgot! When a Player Wins a Round in New Super Mario Bros.'s VS Mode, Where else is that Fanfare Played? I have the one when a Player wins the VS Mode Game itself. Are the two of them the same theme?

The Ultimate Koopa
07-22-2011, 07:36 PM
OK, I will.

Oh yeah, you're right. It seems he left the drums in, which doesn't play in the actual version. And also left out the "humming" part. I'll have to fix this... :P EDIT: Crap. I forgot how to do it.

a good thing someone finally figured out the file formats used in LM and SMS. But I still think it's a line in recording. I guess this is his ripping method:

for every song burn the ISO with a modified song file to select a sequenced song and let it play at the title screen, probably a multi-game iso.
then he loads the burned iso and records it.
The reason they are named like this, is the name of the bms file. Still however the game plays it as it is, but does not alter the song as the game does in normal gameplay(channel muting for yoshi tracks or speed up the song as what happens in the Wiggler battle).
What is pianistquiz03? It's an other totaka song?

BLUECHAKA - Plays when the door after killing all the Mr. Bones is unlocked and you can get to Bogmire.
CHANGE_WATER - Plays when you freeze the waterfall.
DEMO_LION2 - Plays when you come back to watch Mario's painting again.
The rest, I do not know. And some of the missing songs are SFX, I think.

EDIT: The piano and Observatory humming/Shooting Stars are sound effects. "Observatory" is actually the same track as "Outside", just slowed down. Hopefully after the better rip you'll have intros of every variation and they play correctly. Even if FurryBob's rip had no SFX. I'll listen to your original rip and see what SFX you have.

There's Something that's been getting my goat ever since I've been downloading the Pokemon Colosseum Soundtracks. Nobody knows what I'm talking about when I've been saying there's a difference in the "Colosseum Final Battle" and one of the Battles involving Team Cypher. I'm finally going to tell--at least you guys--what that difference is! Unlike in Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, in Pokemon Colosseum the Colosseum Final Battle plays once and then starts over. In order to tell the difference, you have to listen to it Play 2 Times in order to notice ANY Difference between this and the Cypher Admin Battle. However, the Colosseum Final Battle that's played in Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness DID match the Cypher Admin Battle from Pokemon Colosseum. In other words, the Colosseum Final Battle between Pokemon Colosseum & Pokemon XD are different because of what plays when that theme plays once! If you're taking the music from Pokemon XD, and using it for Pokemon Colosseum, it will match the first part of the theme but it majorly differs after that! I hope people finally understand what I'm talking about.

Request #1: Super Mario 64 DS (DS) (I have this one, but it only plays once before it fades) (I'm only interested in the DS version, because I already have the N64 Version)

Request #2: Mario Tennis: Power Tour (GBA)

Request #3: Mario Kart Wii (Wii) (I have this one, but it only plays once before it fades)

Request #4: Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (DS) (USA Version)

Request #5: Diddy Kong Racing DS (DS) (Please, don't use ANY of the N64 Versions. Upload all of this Games Music straight from the DS Version (I still remember the difference between ACWW & ACCF))

Request #6: Mario Party DS (DS)

Request #7: Pokemon Trozei! (DS)

Thanks!

I'm doing Request #1, and I can do Requests #3 and #5, if you want.

Should I put them in a new topic?

The Ultimate Koopa

Well I WOULD be able to do Request #5, if there was even a rip of the game in the first place.

As for #3, for the tunes that have different variations, there are 2 options:
1. Have them seperately, e.g. have the different Koopa Cape variations as seperate tracks.
2. Have them together in a medley
.. or if you wish, both. For example, have "Wario's Gold Mine (Outside)", "Wario's Gold Mine (Inside)", AND "Wario's Gold Mine (Full Medley)" or something.

Also, for Koopa Cape, since this is how it SHOULD be in the game, I'm not going to have the "wah" sound separate, as OSTs should represent how you hear them in the game, right? Therefore, the main part, and the river part will have the 'wah' part over the top as, as I said, it should be. There are 7 tunes that have different variations which are:
Bowser's Castle, Dry Dry Ruins, Koopa Cape, Local Menu (i.e. not Wi-Fi), Moonview Highway, Toad's Factory, and Wario's Gold Mine.

If you actually used furry bob's Super Mario Sunshine temporary FLACs from the temporarycrap folder, you shouldn't have. Not sure if it was in the plans to do the US Super Mario Bros. 2, slippyToad, but I see you have DX, Lost Levels, and 3... if you ever do it, could you get the pause variations of the songs, too? When you pause, it only plays the bass of the song, and I haven't found a single rip / recording of the pause variations...

Again, not sure if it was ever in the plans to do Super Mario Bros. 2- this isn't really a request for it, but more-so a request for if you do decide to do the game.

There is a full rip that Splashman did, which incorportates the dynamic themes in one track, for example, the Normal version plays, followed by the Yoshi version, for tracks with a Yoshi version, and the Airship features the slightly minimal version for the first 30 seconds then suddenly goes into the full version with more drums and the melody, and the Menu just contains all 4 versions. It's in 320 kbps MP3, and it can be found here:
Thread 71682

However, I do believe slippyToad also has a FLAC of this, but I didn't download it, of course slippy will upload it, if he feels like is.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii was easy to rip. All songs were streamed. A few songs were with multi-stream. I have it too with all the variations. I could release as unlike the DS version it has no mistakes. I'll upload it.

I also have Mario Kart Wii with all variations played, but it still misses some variations of the menu music, plus I recorded the menu songs a long time ago on my laptop, which didn't record stereo very well.

All the soundtracks starting with 'S' are uploaded.

The Ultimate Koopa
07-27-2011, 07:13 PM
About Mario Kart Wii, I can assure you that there are only THREE Menu variations. There's the "Mode Select" variation, and the "Course Selection", as you have, however, the Character and Kart versions are not separate. I don't know why the streams are separate, but that's just how it goes. Also, for the sake of accuracy, when you look at Koopa Cape, there'll be 4 pairs of channels:
Channels 1 and 2 are for the main variation (the part that plays when you first start)
Channels 3 and 4 are for the river part
Channels 5 and 6 are for the underwater pipe part
Channels 7 and 8 are that short 'wah' sound.

If you want a soundtrack that's accurate, i.e. one that reflects how you'd hear them in the game, Channels 7 and 8 should not be a separate track, rather, they should be merged with Channels 1 and 2 one one track, and Channels 3 and 4 on another track, in other words:
Koopa Cape (Main) = 1, 2, 7, 8
Koopa Cape (River) = 3, 4, 7, 8
Koopa Cape (Pipe) = 5, 6

I imagine that in-bubble thing is some sort of sound that plays when you get hit by a bubble by one of those bubble-shooting mole things? That's what I assume it to be, anyway; no idea what else that'd be.

Rayman (PSX, Sat)

Rayman 2: The Great Escape (N64)

Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (US Version) (DS) (I actually just need the Character Select Theme. Please Include Mario's Voice in the Character Select Theme!)

Diddy Kong Racing DS (DS) (Don't Cheat by using the N64 Versions of the Music)

Mario Kart Wii (Wii)

Wario's Woods (NES & SNES) (Yes, there IS a SNES Version... Heck, I own it!)

Super Mario 64 DS (DS) (Don't Cheat by using the N64 Versions of the Music)

Sorry if this is too much at one time. Oh! and could you do 2 favors for me? First--and I'm sure you're already working on it--Fix the Mario Kart DS Download. Second, Fix the Donkey Kong Country GBC so that 90% of the music isn't from Donkey Kong Land 1. Most of the Donkey Kong Land Songs you put in DKC GBC were never in the game. And, once again, I noticed the difference!

The Ultimate Koopa
09-13-2011, 05:10 AM
The songs that are in DKL but NOT in DKC are:
Snow
Mountains
Clouds
Skyscraper
Blimp
Construction Site
Boss

The songs that are in DKL that are ALSO in DKC are:
Jungle
Cave
Coral
Temple
Ice (which uses the same music as the Flooded Ruins in DKL)
Gangplank Galleon/K Rool (which uses the same music as the Ship stages)
DK's Treehouse uses the DKL Title theme
Bonus Stages (also used as the Map Screen in DKL)
Note that the DKL File Select screen is in the DKC GBS rip, and somehow, the DKL3 bonus music, as well as the win and lose jingles from the same game.

The soundtrack should include ALL songs from the game, whether they're in DKL or not, as long as they're in DKC that's OK.
I.e. DKC songs not in DKL should be included
DKC songs also in DKL should be included
DKL songs not in DKC should NOT be included, as you said.

I recorded all songs from this game by hex editing the songs file to make a song select. It's complete. Well I skipped the alternate version of outskirt stand, which is the same song, but with a 30 seconds silent intro

Wario's Woods NES is part of the animal crossing NGC soundtrack since it has the Wario's Woods NES game inside
Donkey Kong Country GBC really has lots of Donkey Kong Land songs in it. They are ripped directly from the Donkey Kong Country GBS. Could be that some of them are indeed unused.

And Pikmin 2 is currently being zipped and uploaded, including the FLAC version. It takes a lot of time. To just zip them, let alone upload them.

Uploaded/updated:
Earthbound
F1 Racing Championship (N64 version)
Fable: The Lost Chapters
Fable II gamerip. Much more complete than the few OST tracks. I still should take a second look on the right variations of the crescendo tracks. I think I made mistakes there.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King
Forecast/Weather Channel
Pikmin 2 updated + FLAC upload(well it's still busy uploading)

I think I mentioned this, but did you use the USF for Mario Golf? Because for some reason there's a glitch with "Ring Shot" which causes it to literally stop suddenly at 1:47. I've tried it with both 64th Note in Winamp, and LazyUSF in foobar2000, so it's nothing to do with the plug-ins, it's the file itself. It doesn't like just go silent, it literally freezes, the timer thing (as in the thing that slowly moves as the song plays) literally stops in the middle.

As long as you're working with Mario Galaxy, don't forget about that Bowser's Burned Tail track. When you fixed the three tracks with stream/sequence synching issues and uploaded the fixed tracks to your Mediafire folders back in June, that one track didn't get uploaded with the other two.

The Ultimate Koopa

The bms files should contain every single possible sequenced file in the game, right? Therefore, there shouldn't be any missing tracks.

Also, for the sake of necessity, you really only need the sequenced tracks and the streamed tracks. You don't need to have like "File Select", and THEN "File Select (OST version)", just using the streams and sequences from the ISO, is enough.

I personally like having the OST versions, though. Also, some tracks (like vs. Bowser (OST) from SMG) have sound in them that is not present in any of the others. Actually, I like it when rippers combine all of the dynamic sections into one track (even though that means a lot of editing) and that is the closest you can get without having to edit it yourself, .

Hey, Ultimate Koopa! You said you were working on a Mario Kart Wii Soundtrack/Game Rip last summer... When others wanted a merged version of the different Track Music, and I asked for them to be separate, I agreed that the Soundtrack could be done both ways and I would just delete the ones I didn't need after I downloaded it. Your rips are REALLY good. Any chance you'll make a complete FLAC rip of Skyward Sword? I've been waiting for this game for years, and pre-ordered it in June 2009, but it seems that the game's music is the most exciting aspect for me! From what I've actually heard in gameplay videos, it's likely going to be the best music I've ever heard, by far, with no room for argument. And that's when comparing it to EVERYTHING else(inside and outside of games). I think this will even be better than Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2!(which, aside from the orchestral Pokemon anime music, are my favorite soundtracks) I'll keep an eye out for the source files, if those help.

Thank you, slippyToad, and keep up the great work!

Anybody Got a Game Rip of Mega Man 7--from the Super NES--that repeats twice then fades AND doesn't have ANY Sound Effects? When I Say Sound Effects, I'm also including that SFX made when Mega Man Teleports to the Beginning/Checkpoint of a Stage. Another thing I'm trying to get is the Music When Mega Man and Dr. Light are talking about the Boss's Weapon that Mega Man Earned, but I would like it without that annoying beeping noise when someone is talking in the game. The Last SFX that I think people would forget to remove would be when you face a boss and it shows his Health Meter Filling Up. If anyone thinks I'm being picky, well, put it this way... I managed to get Mega Man 1-6 (NES) from Sigma62 without ANY Sound Effects at all. ''Stage Start'' of Mega Man 1 didn't have that annoying score calculation SFX that appears just before the Stage Starts! I'll admit, sometimes he look's a little intimidating, and he doesn't usually have EVERY music track on his game list, but he has some that Game Rips That I couldn't find anywhere else! Example: Mega Man & Bass for the Game Boy Advance! Eh? Why don't I get Mega Man 7 from him then? Actually I did, but not only was he missing some key tracks (Like the Title Theme, Game Intro, etc.) some of his tracks had the very SFX he left out in the other games I had downloaded. I was pretty disappointed... Anyway, Anybody got Mega Man 7 with the features I mentioned?
