Nice! Thanks a lot. I love Burnout and I actually own 3 versions of this game (PS3 retail, PSN version and PC)

Hey, I got the program to convert XMA to WAV, but the program won't open. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

this would be nice if the tracks were actually tagged and in civilised format.

well you can always encode it in flac if you're such a quality maniac. The reason that ppl like mp3 is that the quality of this format satisfies them. Personally - I hardly hear any difference between 256 kb and 320, not to mention flac. Plus the size is smaller. And what audio player can play xma files?

Sigh ... how the hell do you play these XMA files?

I followed your link here to this here other thread (CLICK HERE (Thread 76405)) and followed the Winamp guide but Winamp won't play the files after following the guide.

Please note in the guide that the first link takes you to a directory with like a massive number of files. Maybe I downloaded the wrong one? The one I downloaded was at the very top of the list and was called, "vgmstream-r912-test.zip"

Please note I'm running Win7 Home Premium 64-bit

Also please note that I want to convert these files to FLAC so can that be done with Winamp and if not then how do I convert them to FLAC (or even WAV which I can then convert to FLAC).

And yes I realize you posted a way to convert to WAV using Winamp but right now I did exactly as you said in that 'guide' and they won't even play in Winamp so I haven't bothered to install that 'DiscWriter" plug-in yet.

I'm surprised there is no foobar200 plug-in. I found a plug-in for foobar2000 called "vgmstream decoder" (which is listed on the foobar2000 website) but that won't play back these XMA files either.

Thank you.

*** EDIT ***

A friend helped me find the link on that Russian site for that "toWAV" program and I just used that to convert the XMA files to WAV files and it worked so now I have to convert to FLAC and tag 'em all *sigh*

Thanks for the upload!
